  1. I think it's closer to 65. I can look at the roster but we base everything on 65.
  2. IMO special teams. BUT they have came a long way since the beginning of the year. :thumb:
  3. Yep that's Kasey Clark. He's a Junior this year.
  4. They should all impress. Just due to the fact that they play both ways and so far have played rather WELL!
  5. Getting serious???? I think it got serious about 4-5 weeks ago.
  6. That's my understanding as well. They have what's called a soft intermission where they encourage everyone to leave. But you can stay for the next game as well. If you leave then you will definately have to purchase another ticket.
  7. Reguardless of what has happened up till now. The facts are that OC plays Russell for the AA state championship. Obviously both teams are pretty good or neither would have made it this far. As for who beats who we will all see once and for all on Saturday evening.
  8. I agree. :irked: Maybe we should just put all the money towards the banquet for the team that never should have bothered.
  9. I get it just fine. 11 passes is a bunch in a run based offense such as Belfry. The only way OC will run 80 plays against Russell is if they keep our offense off the field. We love to grind it out and eat up the clock. As far as covering the pass. I think that our boys will be fine on potentially 40 pass plays because I can't see OC getting that many off. But I guess we'll find out Saturday. Should be one heck of a game pitting the RUN against the PASS. :thumb:
  10. 13-1 ~65 3 and those 3 don't play alot. 19 for a loss of 130 yards. 16 returned for 364 yards. This is the best that I can do for you at the moment.
  11. That and most of the two way players have been doing that for how long? 13-14 games. If fatigue was a factor i'm sure it would have reared it's ugly head by now and Ivan would have made adjustments.
  12. Do we have verification that anything was said to the cheerleaders by the team? If so I would like to know so I can talk to them myself.
  13. Yea but Ivan hates that uni. The maroon in the pants does not match the maroon in the jersey. We did that at morgan and according to my son Ivan said NO! :creepy:
  14. Not 100% sure but there are 8-9 that go both ways. 53 Michael Schafer= NG/OT 6' 220lbs 56 Josh Wills= G/LB 5' 10" 200lbs 52 Tim Smith= G/T 5' 10" 220lbs 60 Drew Mell= T/T 6' 230lbs 3 Tommy Brown= QB/CB 5'10" 180lbs 18 Jacob Sizemore=TE/CB 6'3" 190lbs 24 Kasey Clark=RB/CB 6' 190lbs 45 Chad Edwards=RB/DB 5'10" 190lbs 91 Cameron Perry= TE/G 6'2" 220lbs These are the boys that play mainly both ways. I could have some positions wrong but this is close.
  15. Would have been more BUT my parents and sister and her family already had a trip planned to the Smokies from early in the year. I have a son playing in the AA game so that's why so many of us are heading out. :thumb:
  16. I'll be there for at least the AA game. :thumb: Along with the Misses, 2 kids, mother and father in law, Brother and sister in law, and their 2 children.
  17. Then how come you voted for OC? :sssh:
  18. I don't think it's so easy to defend. Look at Russell this year. :thumb:
  19. Not said but implied. You say that the Aces have the complete package which leads me to believe that you think that Russell does not.
  20. And I guess that Russell only has a partial package. Obviously BOTH teams have a complete package. You don't get this far in the post season only having a partial package. I think Russell needs to step up the pass coverage BUT thay have proved that they can by stopping Fritz at Fleming. I believe that he was THE leading passer in the regular season according to KHSAA. :sssh: See you all Saturday.
  21. True BUT Russell's district foes are mainly running teams so that's a moot point. We'll let all the boys on both teams decide this next Saturday. Hope we everyone has a safe trip up and back and both tems get thru the game injury free. With that being said........ GO DEVILS!!!!!!!!
  22. Me thinks someone is a little bitter today. Russell does have a very physical team. I think they tighten up on the pass coverage next week and control the clock. I'll go with the same as last week. Russell by 6 or less whatever that may be.
  23. Got a call from my son last night and he said it was a broken small bone between the elbow and the wrist. I don't know for sure just relating what he said. I also thought it was great to see Potter suited up and walking on the field. Sad to lose him for the year. But glad to see him walking. :thumb:
