Belfry / Russell predictions
Only 7 hours till game time. And about 3.5 till I head over to the field. Is it me or does the clock seem to be going REALLY slow today. I think by gametime i'll need a valium the size of a basketball.

Belfry / Russell predictions
That was kind of how I meant it. But some of the boys looked a little sluggish late in the game. This years team has had to come from behind, Play 4 quarters and try to come out of the shadows of the Gross era. I am proud of all the boys. They stepped up and played like I knew they could. Hope everyone has a safe trip up and back. I'm heading over to the field at 4:00 to start getting everything ready. Gonna blow up 200 baloons. Gonna start selling split the pot early tonight. Like to see it get to 800-1000 dollars for the split tonight. :ylsuper:

What will the bone chilling temperatures.......
Well I think that will make the Russell/Belfry game dead even. For those that don't know these teams. It's run, run, run some more. And if that fails they may throw one to mix it up. Then run, run, and run some more.

To you the fan, the coach and the player
Amen and very well put. I am fortunate enough for my team to be one of the few left playing. Heck I think i'm only going to work till about noon today. Good luck to everyone left out there and have a safe trip to and from.

Belfry / Russell predictions
I honestly think that last years game was the result of Russell being dominate in their district. I can't remember a game last year that the starters played past a series in the third quarter. They needed to play all 4 quarters at Belfry and didn't have the steam. I have seen this years team have to play 4 quarters of football. They have also overcome being behind in a game or two. I think this team is ready and capable of playing to the bitter end against Belfry. One last thing. What day is it.......... GAMEDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will Belfry win another State Title ???
I really don't think that this late in the season that anyone will handle the other "pretty well' I think it will be a close, hard fought game between two excellent teams. You don't get this far into the season being a pushover. Both Belfry and Russell will have their work cut out for them come Friday night. As so many others have stated it will come down to who handles the ball the best. Good luck to both teams. And maybe O.C. should worry about Desales before worrying about the state game. :sssh:

Who are some of the top playmakers in the state?
Yup definately a Russell fan. Got a senior on this years team. And 2 younger ones coming up behind him. Appreciate the luck and hope to see you in the Pizza Box. But be prepared "The Beasts from the East are coming" :thumb:
-
Who are some of the top playmakers in the state?
I'll give you that since I have not seen any of them. BUT trust me there are plenty of play makers in the East as well. Kasey Clark- Russell Jordan Fritz- Fleming Maynard- Belfry Maybe someone else can chime in and add a few?
-
Who are some of the top playmakers in the state?
All I can say is IF you beat Desales. Be prepared because whether you get Russell or Belfry you will be in for the fight of your lives. Either team fully intends to keep the hardware in the east.
-
Who are some of the top playmakers in the state?
Correct me if I'm wrong here BUT hasn't Belfry brought home the hardware for the last 2 years by beating the teams in the west? As far as Atcher, Johnson and the other kid who has signed with N.D. I guess we won't get the privledge to watch them this year. :sssh:

Belfry / Russell predictions
Amen. I think that's has to be the best post yet. :thumb: It will be a joy to watch. If we lose it will be sad for my son who is a senior, But how many other seniors are setting at home not having the opportunity to play in a game of this caliber. We should all be proud of how far both teams have made it and how hard all of the boys have played this year. When you get this deep into the season none of the games are easy. Good luck to both teams and I hope everyone makes it to and from and thru the game safe! And on an ending note. GO DEVILS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Belfry / Russell predictions
Answer me this. With Ft Campbell out and Trigg out why are the Massey ratings the way that they are. IMO It should be OC, Russell, Desales and Belfry ranked in the top 4. Not necessarily in that order but 1-4 none the less. 1 + 1 Owensboro Cath 2 - 1 Ft Campbell 3 Russell 4 Trigg Co 5 DeSales 6 + 1 Belfry 7 - 1 Newport 8 Western 9 Leslie Co 10 Mercer Co This was cut and pasted directly from Massey. Maybe there is some reason that someone can explain to me.
