Once the ball gets thrown in, you can't just blow the horn until the next whistle...which is what I did.

I was looking down both benches to see if anyone was coming up to the table to check in. Once I looked back to the court, the ball was being thrown in so the only thing I could have done was start the clock and wait for the next dead ball.

This was the first time seeing a Cooper boys team play and was pleasantly surprised by the Jaguars. Collins' only blemishes shooting were from inside the arc when he went 1-for-3, but he was 5-for-5 from 3-point range and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

Add to that $4 for parking. I will say it was the easiest $40 I've ever made running the scoreboard...lol.

I would also add props to Coach Levandusky for countering with the stalling once the second half started. Heck if you've got a lead on a team that is stalling, then counter with it yourself.

Highlands went 24:10 without scoring until they got a basket at the 7:50 mark of the fourth quarter. Trying to contact Butch Cope at the KHSAA to see if this was the lowest scoring girls basketball game in the post-season since the KHSAA re-instituted girls basketball back in the 1970s.

Its now 4-0 at the half. Highlands has had the ball for close to 14 minutes if not a little more and gotten up one official shot which was a layup that rolled around every part of the rim except the netting.

Final from The bank of Kentucky Center. Yet another ugly game in the tournament. Sydney Moss led all scorers with 13 points. Boone County advances to the semifinals where it will take on St. henry District HS on Friday at 6 p.m. The legendary Randy Moss was in attendance, which was pretty neat to see.

Final. This was an ugly game, but The Cru was able to come out on top. St. Henry will now take on Boone County on Friday night at 6 p.m.

Pretty neat to see Randy Moss in the crowd tonight watching his daughter play. Boone is leading at the half over NCC but whoever wins this game should role to the finals on Friday night.

As for surprises, I would say Cooper and Lloyd as well, but with how the region has been so wide open this season, we should probably expect a couple upsets at the regional as well.
