Biggest upsets in high school football ever
50inarow replied to Oldbird's topic in KY Football (High School)
Given what happened in the first meeting, this was a huge upset. Hardly anyone outside of the team gave Trinity a shot, maybe rightly so. -
St Xavier vs Trinity will it happen again .
50inarow replied to 32TRUE's topic in KY Football (High School)
Luckily, Trinity has both. -
Are the 8th graders that play and switch
50inarow replied to lexcard's topic in Controversial Issues
It seems like the coaches would be the ones "using" the kids to me. -

I wonder, when you called the KHSAA, what did they say? -

That's exactly my point. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Thanks. -

KHSAA: Lexington Catholic lacks 'institutional control'
50inarow replied to Jesse James's topic in Controversial Issues
This is how this whole mess got started. People spreading rumors as truths. Even if the person spreading a rumor thinks it's true... Full rides, etc... -

What does Prop 20 have to do with dorms, full rides, etc? Where does this nonsense come from? -

Alexander vs Trinity article in CJ
50inarow replied to Trinity alum's topic in KY Football (High School)
Trinity had no trouble stopping Seahawks star "I've got friends with kids who wear Shaun Alexander jerseys, and they send the kids over to me and start laughing," former Trinity defensive lineman Jimbo Schaffer said. "They'll say, 'Ask Jimbo about the day he tackled Shaun Alexander.' " -
Bob Schneider's Comments on the Compromise
50inarow replied to cshs81's topic in Controversial Issues
If it levels the playing field, why not? -
LOL!!!!!!! This is too funny. I believe "open enrollment" schools will have their feeder schools defined by the BOC of the KHSAA. Enjoy that one folks! Be careful what you ask for... Also, it looks like Male could be seriously hurt. They will be limited to what, 1 or 2 schools now?

"Many of the 15 private school representatives on the task force felt yesterday's negotiations didn't go as advertised. They thought they might be able to come back Jan. 17 for further talks." Imagine that. Even when the KHSAA tries to do something the right way, they screw it up.

Funny, your inside the room does not match reports in papers. You left off that it goes both ways - kids that leave private schools that go public will be treated the same way. Ouch! That's going to hurt! And there is still no compromise. The privates think two years is too much. ""We believe that's far too drastic," said , Public Schools will think that way too once they figure out this applies to them. 20 miles - Private schools without clear feeder systems would have those feeders designated by the KHSAA board of control. Lex Cath, Trinity, X, etc. "Sr. Bernadette McManigal, superintendent of the Archdiocese of Lexington schools, suggested there's still plenty of work to do. "I would imagine," she said "it's far from over." http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060111/SPORTS05/601110506

Vaught's Views: Why will a KHSAA task force help?
50inarow replied to colonel-fan's topic in Controversial Issues
It takes courage to tell a majority "you're wrong". At least that is what I hear on the TV a lot. Or... If all of your friends jump off the cliff, would you? ETC... -
Did you say competiton? If schools have to compete, they will not go for it.
-
I think there will not be a compromise and Prop 20 will die a loud moaning death.

Top Defense in NKY Next Season " 06 "
50inarow replied to Red Heat's topic in KY Football (High School)
Talk about pompous... you're the one that said very easily. Do you really want to debate that Dixie, or any other NKY 4A team will beat Trinity "very easily"? Come on now. Talk some sense.
