  1. I'll take 2nd through last in any poll so long as "We are the Champions". Trinity Forever!!!
  2. It's easy for a Trinity fan to take these shots at Glaser. He's anti-Trinity 24/7. But if I'm an X fan, I'd be proud of Glaser. He's always done a good job by the kids, and he obviously loves his school. You can't ask for more than that.
  3. Trinity Defense I’m so happy for the kids on Trinity’s D. Almost everyone was calling for Bean’s head. Fans were calling the kids lazy. In the end, they stop listening to the fans in the stands, and started playing old fashioned Trinity D. Three cheers for the Rocks!!! I thought it would be fun to look back at some of the posts after the 1st encounter when the sky was falling. A big :thumb: goes to andigidy.
  4. Think what you want. I know the facts.
  5. Have you talked with the 8th graders that get the private one-on-one tours of x's campus provided by the classy Glaser? He WAS saying that and more. Now worries here though. We enjoy making him have to make up new guarantees. I can't wait to hear the next one.
  6. I know, I know… Glaser “says” things all the time. But! He has been telling 8th graders “Why would anyone want to go to Trinity? I guarantee they will not win a championship in the next 4 years. We own them.” If I were an 8th grader, I’d have to wonder what else he has said that might not come true…
  7. It's not about the money. It about showing respect.
  8. Wow. You must of had a bad day yesterday...
  9. So what? You think we are interested in that now?
  10. We have a good coach... but that's CAN'T be the answer. :sssh:
  11. Any school in 4A CAN make it to the finals. Just win. Simple. If the Louisville schools are playing at a “much higher level”, are you against having the best two teams play for the title? Is it NOT fair for the best two teams to play for the title? It sounds like you want to dumb down the playoffs. Let's say you move T and X into the west, do you really think those schools would be happy? They would never make it to the finals having to go through T, X, H, etc. I would not have a problem going back to the old Louisville vs State at Large. I just wish folks could make up their minds.
  12. I don't think you can rule out the rivalry T/X have developed over the past 35 years. Without the competition, I don’t think either school (including athletics) is at their current level. Also, I think the pure hatred from the public schools drives an “us vs them” attitude through these two teams. Thanks for your help publics!
  13. ^ Too late... I think Jeff has a son, right?
  14. Don't forget Brady. :thumb:
  15. Just a quick question – what were Boone’s coaches thinking letting #12 try to intimidate Trinity before the game? While Trinity was stretching as a team, Boone was going through their pre-game “look at us, we throw the football before games” routine. #12 comes on the field, and then proceeds to run up and down the 50 yard line hitting his helmet and screaming/yelling at the Trinity players. Boone’s coaches just watched him do it. Not that Trinity needed any more incentive, but I’m sure Coach Beatty appreciated the help.
  16. Actually, it was a TV interview where he said Louisville schools don't play physical football. I can see where he thought that, until last night.
  17. Boone's play breakdown: Run: 500 Attempts (83%) (42 per game), 3,127 yards (84%), 31 TD's (79%) Pass: 101 Attempts (17%) (8 per game), 613 yards (16%), 8 TD's (21%) Completed Passes: 34... I'd say that is the definition of one dimensional. Even in games where Boone lost, they still didn’t pass the ball more. Boone lives and dies by the run. But when you run the ball so well, why not? From the sounds of things, Boone’s run attack could be ranked right up their with St. X. Boone wants to line up and drive the ball down the field. If they can keep Trinity out of the end zone, they have a shot. If not, and they have the use the forward pass, things will get ugly.
  18. OK, we respect you. Trinity 35 Boone 14
  19. Nichols often acts younger than he is. Some see this as an advantage. Others see this as his downfall. Too me, there is a lack of discipline in the program. I'd say it stems from a young coach. BUT!!!! His kids love him and play VERY hard for him. You can’t knock that at all.
  20. KJ is THE MAN! The dude was on fire. I hope he is able to continue playing at some school next year.
  21. Let me clear my throat... Booooooooone County. Beat the Rebels! :ylsuper: :thumb:
  22. Actually... Trinity High School 49, Boone County 0 (Nov 04, 2003 at Trinity High School)
