I wish I could....unfortunately that is why I placed this thread out there so I could learn more from someone like you who seems to follow and know soccer. This is my first year following high school soccer. After looking at your comments, I must agree that the two top teams at this point based upon record and scheduling to date would be Brossart and St Henry. I also agree with your comments on Campbell Co, yes they are undefeated and beat a very good Ryle team, I think that the remaining games on the schedule will show what they are made of. I agree with Ryle, they played the Camels tough and being down 3-0 they fought back. Tonight the Camels play Highlands and next week the big Brossart match-up so time will tell.

You really do not want to get into this here do you? If you choose to not take advantage of the free education provided by the state then that is your choice. But realize that you will pay for school taxes like people do that do not have any children. But then do not expect to have free access to the facilities. Part of what funds the facilities at the public schools is the state allocation per student and if you choose to not send your child to public schools and still use the facilities, the school has not received that child's allocation which funds such facilities or programs. We would love to have your children at the public school. More state allocations per students would help us maintain the facilities and programs we have. But then that is what makes America.....the ability to choose. AMERICA IS GOOD!

Why???? Our facilities are already overused for our students, the varsity programs are limited to practice time due to the limits of our gyms and practice areas. The football field can not even be used by our teams for practices due to the wear and tear that field takes. We have varsity, JV, Freshman, Middle school and now 4th, 5th and 6th grade teams that need practice and game times on our football fields. And now another school wants/expects us to rent it to them? Now the best AD in the world could not solve that problem. Now if we had turf, that could change the equation of the wear and tear but time is a bigger factor. The gym situation would only be alleviated with another practice facility. The community of Alexandria/Campbell County should partner with the district to create a community center shared by the citizens of Campbell Co and the schools much like the facilities at Mason High School in Cincinnati.

And then there is the saying you get what you deserve. Why don't you take some of this anger and make a difference. Express your concerns in a constructive way....site-based councils, school board meetings, school board elections, parent involvement, volunteerism, and financial support. There are many concerned parents who want to change this situation and do what is best for the kids of this district. There are issues in every school district, ours has been in the spotlight lately. But we can make a difference if we work hard together and stop all of this negative behavior. I am frankly sick of those that love to bad mouth both sides but sit back and do nothing. This will get this community nowhere. We have alot to be proud of, its time to start tooting that horn and work positively to change those things that are wrong.

What are you doing to make a difference..nothing??? just bad-mouthing??? If you feel so strongly then volunteer your time and efforts. Alumni of CCHS are too passive and have no passion to make things better. Make a difference. Stop being part of the problem. I am not going to comment on your negative remarks, only go out there and work even harder to be a positive influence....and guess what I did not even go to CCS or work for them, see how easy it is?

Any results from todays games? Only ones I know....Campbell Co lost to Lee Co and have beat Boyle Co.

Campbell County will be attending the Georgetown team camp this week.

"If Scott HIgh is any indicitation of how the 9th region schools support their teams, then I understand why you need a small gym with 4500 seats for your region. Because, their turnout for their first trip to the 10th was an absloute joke!!" Did you ever consider the fact that a 5:30 start of a basketball game over an hour away from you school, when parents work usually until 5 or later could have anything to do with this??? I am not making any excuses for them but, it is much easier for the Mason Co fans every year to work a normal work day, not take a vacation day and drive within a few miles to cheer for their team. I think its time for them to see what it takes to plan for a last minute game with a start time of 5:30 in the afternoon in the middle of a work week!

It sure seems that the if NKU or even the Campbell County Middle School gym could be part of the rotation it would be reasonable. If you talk geograpical location then there are several schools that are within 15-30 minutes to this area: Campbell, Scott, Brossart, Silver Grove, Calvary and two more that are within 30-40 min Pendleton and Bracken. Then within an hour you have Paris, Harrison, Bourbon, Mason, Deming and St Patrick. So I think that there is a very valid reason to consider that Northern Ky area (CCMS or NKU) should be considered. Yes tradition is nice BUT.......frankly some of us are tired of driving to Maysville and want the advantage of home court to our teams and our fans.

Agree with that one! Not a lot of consistent help on the offensive side besides Marcus and Brett for the Camels. Both have been the key and they still produce the numbers.

Good win for the Camels last night. Noah Dischar played a great game on both ends of the floor, he is really coming around. Too many turnovers as a group but the shooting numbers were much better. Still needs to defend the three better on D. Keep up the momentum against Lloyd, now is when it counts. This is your season.

Thanks to the teams who honored their commitment and played yesterday in the Desert. Great games and great fans. Special thanks to Scott and New Cath for playing each other after Harrison Co and Bracken Co dropped out. At least out of the 6 scheduled games there were three. Very surprised that the teams cancelled out but only they know the reasons why. Such a shame when the facilities are made available, officials are hired, food and teeshirts purchased, volunteers have commited their whole day and teams do not show. I wonder how many of the Bracken Co and Harrison Co fans ventured to Wal Mart or Kohl's in Alexandria yesterday???
