  1. No loss is good but for this young Camel team they will learn from this and will grow. We believe.....Camels, keep working hard.
  2. No anger here, I respect good basketball teams and Mason Co is just that. I am sure that the Mustangs and Camels have no chance against that team but they will give it their best. I am just glad that "U was so soon" to point out your superiority to us folks here in Campbell County.
  3. Wow....what can we say! I am sure that neither Campbell or Brossart has ANY chance against your squad but I am SURE they will try and do the best they can. Or maybe they should just not show up since you are so confident. Oh well see you in the fieldhouse and in the Hump.
  4. Are you trying to say that this JV squad has not been beaten since grade school? You ought to get your facts straight because I remember a Campbell freshman team that defeated the Mason Co freshman team 45-43 on 1/6/05 and another Camel's freshman team that defeated the Mason Co freshman 51-45 on 1/19/06. And this current junior class defeated Darius Miller and gang in their own middle school tournament on Super Bowl night in the fieldhouse. True most of these juniors are now playing varsity but your statement was a little exaggerated. Yes you have a good team over in Maysville and I am sure that no one in the 10th can touch you but we will try and give it our best shot.
  5. This game was played at the Henry Co tournament. Yes the Camels are struggling right now with a 5-3 record but to their defense, they have played in the last week 5 road games each over an hour and a half away and they were in school all week with semester exams. I think this young squad (one starting senior) will improve over this next month.
  6. Campbell Co 52 Harrison Co 51 Final
  7. Great addition to the Camel coaching staff brings energy, passion and a winning attitude. Someone mentioned he could be in the running for the best dressed JV coach in Northern Ky, not sure what that was about! This JV squad should do well the rest of the year. Good luck boys and Coach Enz!
  8. Frankfort 51 Campbell Co 50 Final
  9. South Oldham 60 Campbell Co 43 Final in first round of the Henry Co Tournament.
  10. Campbell County 61 St Patrick 54 Final
  11. Campbell County 61 St Patrick 54. Leading scorers for the Camels were Jon Verst with 19 followed by Kenny Walker with 14 and Jordan Parks with 12.
  12. Campbell County Jordan Parks G Jon Verst G Andy Franzen G Noah Dischar F Ryan Eten C
  13. Happytrails....is this type of comment really necessary? Your continued negativity towards administration and the athletic department is tiring. Your uninformed comments are uncalled for but as expected from you. Instead of bashing our coaches you should be supporting what the players and coaches do for the school and the community. For the players who read this thread, a loss is hard to swallow but there will be another day and time for you to play this team and the stakes will be higher. Great defense Brossart, you live up to your press. For Coach Reitz, America is Good only few people are bad.
  14. Camels started out slow in this season opener on the road and led by 10 at half. In the second half they pulled away for a large margin of victory. The Camels shot 46% from the field and 33% from the three. Calvary shot 33% from the field, 22% from the three. Leading all scorers for the Camels was Jon Verst with 14 points, senior guard Danny Jenkins scored 10, followed by Kenny Walker with 9, Ryan Eten with 8 and sophmore Pat Nerl with 7. Rebounding was Walker and Noah Dischar with 7 each and Ryan Eten with 6. The Camels forced the Cougars into 26 turnovers
  15. Campbell Co 65 Calvary Christian 30 Final
  16. Campbell Co played well against the Rams winning 4 quarters, tied one and lost one. Overall Camels outscored the Rams.
  17. At least one of the brothers now attends and plays for the Camels! We are glad to have him! Great kid.
  18. Could not say it any better myself. What an athlete! Some of the catches he made were definately amazing. He has to be the #1 receiver in NKY.
  19. I think you missed the point....I just thought the crowd didn't quite make it when he promted for a response. When he started announcing every Raider first down it made many of us from Campbell smile, it is nice to try and get the crowd pumped up and having fun. It really helped this year at the Pyramid but then I guess that was apparent with all the fans that followed the Camels program this year. It was a good time which kept bringing back the fans. Winning helped as well. I will say that your announcer did a good job announcing the plays and giving credit to the players. Really was not a slam on him I am sure he is a classy guy, much like the rest of the Raider Nation. Good fans, nice facility.
  20. Thank you to Camel players and coaches for a great season! I am sorry that it had to end but you must give the Ryle team credit, they made the plays when they needed to and took advantages of our mistakes. As for the Camel Nation.....you were awesome this year. I would venture to say that at most away games this year the number of fans in Purple matched or exceeded the home crowd and in spirit we won hands down! Now let's not stop here.....let's keep that school and community spirit and come out and support all Campbell Co activities. To the booster parents of the football team that gave of their time and efforts to make this year a special one, thanks. Your special touches will be remembered by the players and isn't that why we do what we do? Band and cheerleaders, :thumb: thanks . And Greg Rose, I will miss hearing "And that's a Camel FIRST DOWN!" maybe Ryle should hire you to come in this week and show them how it is really done because it just did not make it Friday at Ryle. They tried to copy that Camel spirit but it couldn't be done. Good luck Ryle, we will be rooting for you the rest of the season BUT watch out next year.....we will be back and we believe!
  21. Good season Ryle, the Northern Ky teams were hoping for a Northern Ky sweep.
