Ram Stadium is great also. I remember many games there. What made it special was the artificial turf on the track in the endzone areas. Lawrence County's was nice but when they built a new track and added new seats they moved the fans farther back from the field and that alone takes away the advantage LC used to have when their fans were lined up behind the fence on the track only a few feet from the field.

My two favorites are probably two of the oldest: Ashland's Putnam Stadium Ironton(OH) Tank Memorial Stadium

Lawrence County has had 2 weeks to get ready for this one. Once again the story will be how LC's O-line holds up. If the center can make good snaps and they give the QB time to block LC should win. But if they can't Greenup will take this one. But I am sticking with My Dawgs....LC 21 GC 20

I am not going to go into details on here in a public forum, but I will PM you. But lets just say the support for football hasn't been there like it was in the 90's.

Yes and I would bet that Youngstown Cardinal Mooney may be better than Cincy St. X . Colerain is 24th. Two schools from Cincy in the top 25 and only one can make it to Championship game in Ohio.

But wouldn't it make sense to put better officials with some inexperienced to teach them better and then make the 16th region the best officiating crews in the state? I am sure there is more political going on behind the scenes that what may get out. But I know the 16th region is needing officials and all this can't be good for all involved.

It is hard to spread fire when you have adminstration and parents on you when you try to light the fire. Everyone that is not on the field needs to realize that football is not a Contact sport but a Collison sport. Let the Coaches yell at your kids for making a mistake or not practicing hard or playing hard, trust me it will make them a better person.

First off, this district does not play Bell, Knox, Rockcastle district this year. The KHSAA is rotating Districts in the playoffs. This year it is District 5 playing District 8 and D-6 playing D-7. So whoever comes out of this district in Week 3 playoffs will play either Franklin County, Bourbon, Harrison, Pendleton. Next year District 8 (LC district) will play district 6 (Boyle), then in 2009 this district will District 7 (Bell's). In other words more reason to hate the new 6-Class format.

LC too many mistakes and Rowan to strong up front. With Boyd winning all teams are tied at 1-1 in the district which makes Oct. 19th a big night for this district. Winners get first round home game. Hopefully LC can use their Open week next week to get ready for Greenup and work on tackling and holding onto the ball.
