Belfry Wins

For one its at Williamson and that always explains alot. Second its a rivarly crazy things happened. Belfry also flat stunk. The scored was tied at 16 at the half. Not a good shooting night for Belfry. But I will take a win over Williamson at Williamson any day.

Hope I didnt violate any rules. I dont think I did I mentioned no names but Im sorry if I did. Coach Casey is a good coach and jumped the one boy hard that got the T and didnt put him back in the game which is good.

Alot of classless elbows and shoves which I dont like. Even seen one player throw a punch two times which went unoticed by the officials. Had one player get mad because he got a techincal which he deserved and walked off the court. Belfry wasnt hitting and let it get to them and didnt play with class. They better regroup theirself and have an reality check real soon. They got a good team but the way they acted tonight if I am to see it again another game this year I wont be back. Loosing is part of the game, it happens the players dont need to be babys about it.

It was shameful to watch Belfry play. They made me sick and showed no class. I was highly dissapointed and disgusted with Belfy tonight.

SC they are a very good team and it takes anyone of the favorites having a good game to knock them off. Also how about Pike Central? They have done well and have Brad Lowe.

Yeah close but not close enuff. BL coach went wild haha. But you cant blame him, the game is over and you gotta atleast give a good argument. Good luck to both teams int he future.

I hope SV didnt play full court pressure all night if so thent hat or playing varsity alot would be the only problems I have with that. If their JV is that much better witha zone defense or something like that then they are nothing they can doa bout that. Belfry played Piarist this week and it wasnt a hug blowout or anything but our JV played the game and Im sure Piarist left the game feeling better also. But like I said if the JV s that much better then that cant be helped. Also if it was ran up with full court rpessure and stuff dont put the blame on the players because they just do what they are told by the staff. But I wish both schools nothing but the best.

This was the biggest blow out of the first round wasnt it? They did do a godo job of having good first round games. Congrats NL I think they will win it but hwo knows.

I say Pintsville vs NL in the Championship. Also Knott probably will beat Phelps but dont overlook them they have a couple kids that are very good. They are a scrappy team and much better than they usualy are.

Send him back before his son gets in High School please. His little boy Cameron can flat out play any kind of ball. I have coached him in basketball one year and baseball he is so talented for his age. Coach Justice is a good guy to, hot headed and strict lol but a good guy. His wife is another good one to get in the coaching mix she is meaner coach than he is haha. But they are good people and I want to see him do well. I will cheer for him every game he dont play Belfry Also why does Belfry have so much trouble with LCC? Belfry has as much talent they just fall apart. Even in summer ball it was the same way. One thing that is a huge difference is LCC on the inside. Does anyopne have the rebound total of this game? I know it was bad and the difference in the ball game.

LCC played well in the 4th quarter and out hustled Belfry. Belfry didnt play a great game but it happens. They got outrebounded by ALOT and that was the difference in the game. But if I want to see any other team win games it would be Coach Justice teams. LCC has a wonderful coach and I wish them my best.

Who beat Pikeville lastnight. I know of everybody that was in the tournament but whoever Pikeville played lastnight.

Ill agree with that the 15th region refs are bad. I do appologize that this game was so badly called and it was. But it was both ways bad. As far as the T he didnt deserve it but both coaches were warned form the start if they didnt hush then they would get it. That is when you just got to grin and bare it. If I was the coach of either team I would ahve gotten a T also haha.

Yeah they did, but my point was they was a lot of missed calls both ways. One loose ball late in the game Jamie Case was going for the ball and the Morgan player grabbed his arms to keep him from getting it and the ball went back to Morgan Co. My point is just that the officaiating was bad and bad both ways not just one. Both teams playerd hard and left it all on the court though and we neither can fault neither team for that.

Morgan has a very affective trap defense also. They really came out and trapped well. Our guards never really got on track shooting the ball for the most part and alot of that was due to Morgans tight defense. Also how bout the three in the first half by Jamie Case, he shot that from a long ways away. He does that every game and makes them. Him and Matt Maynard are both plaeyrs you better guard from the time they cross half court. Also Nets thanks for the compliments on Belfry I wish Morgan best of luck and hope they win the 16th.

They was alot of over the back calls not called on Morgan Co also. Both coaches were warned very early not to say nothing to the officails and they werent playing. As far as a basket not given credit for that is wrong. I cant even recall what they would be talking about. Im sure Morgan had someone keeping books, the scorekeeper was there, and Mr. West for Belfry (and he dont miss nothing haha).

Those are 2 of our experienced officials lol. Ill agree he didnt do much but he did get the warning. But you must admit it just wasnt badly called on one end of the floor. It was bad on both ends they were letting alot of stuff go uncalled. I seen SEVERAL missed calls on both ends. But both teams have excellent clubs and played really hard. Neither team could balme a loss on the officails in this game. They both missed some easy shots and made some not so smart plays like some of Belfrys passes or like one drive when Morgan missed 2 layups. Stuff like that can cost you a ballgame.

The game was called rather loosely on both ends and he just got a little bit aggervated. He didnt do nothing major or loose his tempor or anything. But those refs werent gonna take any lip at all they made that clear. Earlier in the quarter he complained and got warned then and the next time he did they slapped him with a T. I was kind of suprised when they did. But it was a loosely called game on both ends of the floor. Our 15th region refs dont go reputation as the best out there haha. But good luck to Morgan rest of the tournament and season. The coaches, teams, adn fans alls eemed like classy people.

The refs didnt cost the game for Morgan Co. The technical foul was well deserved because he had a couple warnings. Also it was a badly called game both sides it was called way to loosely. Morgan big guys were over Belfry backs alot also. It was a game called way to loose but it was called like that on both sides of the ball.

They will before its all over. Im not just saying it cause Im a Belfry fan but they really do have a good team and a good coach.

Feds Creek was a hard place to play. You could beat them by 50 at your home and loose to them at Feds Creek. It was just a ruff gym to play in.

Yeah Morgan played a good game. Both teams played good defense and played hard. Morgan defense was really good they had good traps and guarded tight. Belfry guards though are just tuff to stop. I honestly believe Belfry has the best backcourt in this region. And our big guys arent bad neither. Belfry and Morgan both are solid programs that will make alot of noise in their regions
