nerf Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 So who do you think will win Friday night's game between Morgan County and Rowan County? Remember the game will be played in Morgan County. Any predictions on the scores or margin of victory for this one?
Caveman Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I won't make a prediction but Morgan better be ready to play because they will get Rowan's best game. On paper Morgan wins easily but we all know how many games paper has won.
BigCat23 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Morgan by at least 12. Their first chance to play at home since Menifee game, so I think they will be ready to defend their home court.
CougarsBestFan Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Morgan by at least 12. Their first chance to play at home since Menifee game, so I think they will be ready to defend their home court. I agree with you, the cougars will be coming out ready to defend there court. The cougars have been not playing very well here lately but i have heard they have been having some very good practices. So I think morgan by 17.
Nothingbutnet Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Morgan is capable of winning this one by 20. But when you consider that Rowan will bring their A game, that Morgan hasn't been playing well lately, and that the Morgan and Rowan games are usually close - I'll say Morgan by a small margin!
Belfry Wins Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Good luck to Morgan from this Belfry fan. I hope you guys win this game and go deep in post season. You guys have a very nice team.
mountainwarrior Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Something tells me that Morgan is going to be ready to defend their house. Here it is the middle of January and this is going to be only their second home game, they will be pumped and ready to play. But if they aren't Rowan definetly could pull the upset. I take MC by 9
Nets Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Very kind words Belfry Boy. I know all of the Morgan Co. people thought the same of the Belfry Pirates and hope they do very well in the 15th region this season. Belfry is well coached by Randy Casey and have a solid basketball team.
CougarsBestFan Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Ill take MC by 12. They will be ready to defend there home court.
Nothingbutnet Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Ill take MC by 12. They will be ready to defend there home court. I thought you said Morgan by 17? Are you coming down a little or do you think that they will be ready for a blow out performance?
Nothingbutnet Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Other than Elliott County, Rowan doesn't have a single quality win against a good team! But they always play Morgan close, only losing by 9 back at the beginning of the season. I don't think that they can beat Morgan unless the Cougars just don't show up, BUT this is a game where a flat Cougar performance may result in a close win or a great Cougar performance may result in a blowout!! Morgan is capable of winning by as much as they want to!
gold sunrise Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Good luck to the Cougars.. :ylsuper: Rowan and Morgan always a big rival game.
shooterx3 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Morgan 65 Rowan 51 Mccowan leading scorer for Morgan
nerf Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 Morgan 65 Rowan 51 Mccowan leading scorer for Morgan If McCowan is in his usual game mode, I will agree with your prediction.
