Agree about Anita's. The one thing about Anita's I like is you get some things there you can't at Rio's.

I've been to Montoya's. Really good, but not El Rio Grande good IMO.

Green Derby used to be really good years ago. Now....not so much.

Eli's BBQ is the first place that came to mind.

So, I picked up my new TV Thursday. When I got there they had a 50 inch 1080p Panasonic Plasma on sale for the same price. I almost bought that one because I love plasma. After much self debate, I realized the 50 inch TV would just be too big for the room, so I went with the Samsung UN46EH6000 . After setting it up and tweaking the settings a bit, the picture is awesome! I'm extremely happy with the purchase. The UC - Duke bowl game was the first thing I watched on it, I was quite happy with the performance of the TV. Many thanks to each and every one of you for the help of nudging me in the right direction! :thumb:

I'm leaning that way but I'm tempted with Smart TV with the Panasonic, plus I've heard pretty good things about the VIERA. So, even though I'm leaning, I'm still torn. Anything else to nudge it more the Samsung way?

That won't be an issue for me, for everything I watch, the sound goes through my A/V receiver.

Which one to buy? Samsung UN46EH6000 Panasonic VIERA TC-L42E50 I always agonize over a purchase like this. I can't decide, looking for someone to push me one way or the other. Please give good reasons why one of the other. I really appreciate any help. Also, could a mod fix my typo, meant to type purchase not purchace.

Had a great time hanging out with QRyche, PP92 and his son, Clyde and mexitucky before the game. Had the pleasure of meeting Whack'em, Rebel4Life, RCC9, and FTBigbird. Great seeing LN and guru again as well. Hope I didn't forget anyone. Really enjoyed watching the game with PP92 (and little 92, until a cute little Rebel fan caught his eye and off he went). :lol: Smart kid! I agree with PP92, Qryche, Rebel and a few others. I don't know why Boyle went away from what they were doing in the first half, although I do credit the Birds for making some adjustments. The turnovers were huge early 3rd quarter and mighty mo quickly changed. Glad to see the Birds win this one, but Boyle has one heck of a team and several players with some wheels! I really hope to see a rematch.

How long you going to be at the parking lot?

I didn't see this earlier and when I saw Birdsfan in church he told me the heartbreaking news. I was stunned. Larry was a Facebook and BGP friend, but sadly I never had the pleasure to actually meet him. Still, the kind and gentle soul he was, I felt like I knew him most of my life. My heart aches just thinking I'll never get to read another one of his posts, but as others have said, our loss is Heavens gain. God bless you Larry. You will be truly missed and I agree what was said earlier. BGP will never be the same with out him. Rest in Peace, Larry. Roll Tide.
