I absolutely agree with the sentiment of program over individual. I just want to add that I was on an incredible team my 4 years at HHS, and as Coach Herrmann used to say, there was plenty of glory to go around. Now, if we were an 0-10 team, it would be much more difficult. But in our case, our starters were good enough that many of us got some field time, and a big part of that was due to the non-starters' efforts Mon-Thurs. So, not starting on those Birds teams was still glorious. And even if there are no cheering crowds, I would love a chance again to catch a punt on a sunny, Kentucky Wednesday afternoon and get creamed.

I just hope that they spell my name correctly on the news release of the winners....

I am clearly not calling for the renewal of the Dayton/HHS clash, but we play no one from our own county. How long has this been true?
