I agree. I thought he had some of the most potential of the bunch. Just took a while to figure it out.

Be nice to get a big win on Saturday and feel like they are back heading in the right direction again.

Feels like Justin Edwards is playing a little bit better with every passing game. Really like how aggressive he is being to get into the lane. Be great if he keeps it up and kicks out to any of or rock solid three point shooters.

So many bad and unforced turnovers but that's about the only bad thing you can say about tonight. Solid the rest of the way.

Or you love having a great weapon come off the bench, who has a much better feel of that individual game when doing so and it is for the overall betterment of the team. The start of games haven't really improved and now they've lost that punch in the face they gave teams when Sheppard and Dilly came in and faced a winded starting unit or their bench. Not arguing that Sheppard doesn't deserve it, I'd agree. But he has done better in games after he gets a feel for it and thr team is better when he comes off the bench. I'm not sure that's even all that subjective. And you can't take record out of it, considering that's sort of all that matters. But if you did, the team has looked worse too. And their record is really bad since Sheppard moved into a starting role, although not the only cause. I don't think its just a coincidence.

What's unfortunate, their record is not good with Sheppard in the starting lineup. I don't think who starts matters or has that much affect on record but if you believe it matters, Sheppard hasn't helped your argument with their record with him starting.

Any coincidence that the team got worse on defense and started losing more games when all three of the 7 footers were healthy and playing? I was worried what would happen back in November/December because I figured it would mess with things. Kyle Tucker seems to think it has.

Something that might need mentioned. Starting from behind hasn't really changed with Sheppard in the starting lineup.

I'd absolutely love to have Sophomore Reed Sheppard but I don't think it's happening. Seen a few mock drafts that have him mid to late lottery pick.

I'm not saying he shouldn't play. I was very happy he started looking for his shot and being aggressive in the 2nd half. Just want him to cut down on the just unforced/careless turnovers and keep working hard on not ball watching on D (which he's been a lot better the last couple games).

Sheppard has 2-3 three real bad turnovers a game it seems. Kinds what we have to live with in freshman PG. Just sucks he didn't see the play wasn't there.

Yeah, Damar Hamlin got more first place votes but I guess however they calculate the votes got more points or whatever for Flacco.

I think a lot of people assumed that DeMar Hamlin was going to win the award this year, but Joe Flacco took it home, despite Hamlin getting more first place votes. I think the sportsbooks made a nice profit on this decision. Did they have their hands in it? lol jk

Lamar Jackson had a heckuva season. If he wasn't in the AFC North, I'd be real happy for him.

I don't know if it was KenPom, but I saw something the other day that Kentucky's metrics in regards to their offense and defense are almost identical to what Miami's Final Four team was last year.

Didn't have anything you could really take shots on Cal from his game last night, so had to go find something in a game/thread that has nothing to do with Calipari or Kentucky and do it there instead? lol
