  1. They got Florida at Rupp on Wed next.
  2. Saw that Cal said he might start Onyenso over him.
  3. I appreciate the thought provoking insight on the topic haha
  4. I agree with you on both. Pickles have grown on me a little. Like I'm not taking them off my Whopper anymore but I'm never voluntarily adding them onto anything. I do like fried pickles, preferably not spears.
  5. How long until Netflix raises their prices again and the rationale will be because they added the WWE. Oh Boy, thanks!
  6. Taft Ale House won't have their spot on the third base line anymore. It will now be Bad Tom Smith Brewing.
  7. They are making some big changes at GABP on the third base line. They have essentially torn down a bunch of the walls and concession stands on the third base line and instead of having individual concession stands like they've had, its going to be a more open concept with self-service portals. Picture high school cafeteria maybe, where you essentially have 6-7 places in one, grab your food and go to the self-service place to pay. The idea there is to really help with the long lines down that third baseline from Skyline, LaRosa's, Ice Cream and etc. Total congestion on big games, which I guess they're thinking/hoping they'll have a few.
  8. Lost my dad a little over a year ago. Its strange watching UK Basketball or the Bengals and knowing I'm not going to be able to talk to my dad about them. Hope you and your family are doing okay.
  9. In 7 games from 11/24 vs Marshall through 12/29 vs. Illinois State, he was averaging 9 shots a game. In 6 games during SEC play from 1/6 vs Florida through 1/23 vs South Carolina, he is average 4.5 shots a game. Literally cut in half since conference play started.
  10. Whoops! Thanks for the correction. But yeah, my pondering still remains the same.
  11. On the radio this morning, they set the line at O/U 3.5 Quarters that TSwift is shown.
  12. Had a couple buddies tell me they already bet the Chargers to win the Super Bowl next year. Odds dropped quite a bit on the Chargers throughout the night. I will not be betting on them.
  13. Question I am pondering about Reed Sheppard. He's only made 13 shots in the 6 SEC games. Some would say, well that's on Calipari for not drawing up plays for him or not playing him enough but I feel like we are maybe seeing a bit of a regression from his early season excellence. He came out hot as can be in non-conference play and was quickly anointed by our fanbase, partially because of his last name and being from KY, but largely because he was playing really well. But he's really fallen off since conference play started in several facets of his game. It's probably mostly just a young player going through a slump and some growing pains, but as SEC play was starting, he sure shot up the draft boards and was the talk of the town. He was knocking down like 54% from three. Is he in his own head a little now? Been a long time, but as a three pointer shooter in HS, I always knew my percentage on the season and added more unneeded pressure on myself to keep that percentage high. Part of me wonders if thinking about life after UK because of all the NBA talk for him now, which he maybe hadn't really thought about much early in the season, and worrying about performing well has gotten in his head a little and thrown him off. All speculation but maybe gives us something to talk about for a few days before we can hopefully get his taste out of our mouths on Sat.
  14. No one on Twitter reported it for any other game. Just this one.
  15. Solid paragraph. I sure thought the officials let them play in the first half, but didn't want to say anything because I didn't want it to seem like I was complaining about officials. Not sure they called one reach when a South Carolina player swipe down on the ball on a drive (e.g. Wagner or Reaves takes to the hoop). It wasn't egregious or anything but definitely seemed way looser than a lot of games and UK just didn't adjust.
  16. Anyone remember seeing them switch a potential flagrant to a cylinder foul before?
  17. I think my co-worker said she's in Japan and there's a chance she could maybe get back for the game.
  18. Saw that on the bottom line last night while watching the UK game. Was surprised. Wonder what the story is there.
  19. Bud Walton is always a tough place to place. Arkansas seems down this year from the past few season. Hopefully the Cats really take it to them and get back on track.
  20. I agree with you on adding Big Z. It looked great against Georgia but threw things off some last night. I have no clue how big Z played in Croatia but I'm guessing he's probably better as a stretch big, basically like Trey Mitchell. When those two were in the game at the same time last night, it just didn't seem to work. I think they are going to be much better cohesively, if we are going to have two bigs on the floor, to keep those two separate and playing with either Bradshaw or Onyenso.
  21. I know that you really want there to be some type of narrative, which involves promises to get Edwards to the league, but if that's the case, Calipari is really doing Edwards a disservice by running him out there as much as he has when he isn't producing. I think it probably has more to do with the fact that Edwards is basically the only healthy small forward/true wing on the team right now and has some size to guard other larger wings. Sheppard is more a PG/SG. Reaves is really a SG. I was really holding out hope that something would click for Edwards but if it didn't last night, I don't know when it will. Last night was his chance while Wagner and Sheppard were playing pretty poorly. It was his chance to show some aggression and bang a little. He just can't find his way with this team.
