Somerset 57 Pulaski 51 OT
Good win for the Jumpers. Were the Perkins kids the only two who fouled-out?

Dave Fraley resigns at Pulaski County
I've seen people move twice in six months and be eligible both times this year so far.

What legendary basketball coach resigned?
Has this been confirmed?

All-Time KY High School Football Team
I would mention the Leffew's and Brody Overstreet that all played for Boyle Co. as a part of either side of the lines.

Henry Clay / Trinity...Let's hear it
I have been on the HC bandwagon since the Pike County Bowl back in week 1. I really don't believe now is the time to jump off yet. Heny Clay-38 Trinity-28

HHS vs LexCath Predictions
I'll take Ft. Thomas and the ghosts of playoff successess over Catholic and the ghosts of playoff failures.

Answer me this......and then answer me this
Isn't it funny how those UGLY playoff losses are never forgotten? I will never forget a couple of those losses to Boyle in the playoffs, that's for SURE.

I thought that Middlesboro was AA in 98, but I guess that I was wrong

Answer me this......and then answer me this
I guess I should have stated the last time the ones currently in the regions and their current class. Still some interesting information I think.

Answer me this......and then answer me this
Region 3 AA isn't represented too well as that one came from Boyle Co who went on to win three consecutive AAA titles.

Answer me this......and then answer me this
So Class A Region 4 has the longest drought followed by Classes AAA, and AAAA from Region 4. Looks like we need to get better in these three classes. Thanks westsider for the information. I knew it wouldn't be too long before we got an answer.

Answer me this......and then answer me this
Ok, maybe this is a silly/bad question, but maybe it's not. I want to know which region has gone the longest without producing a state champion. That may not be too difficult, so I have another question. Let's see if we can name the last Class A, AA, AAA, and AAAA from each region. I know, I know, it may be a bit tedious, but I guarantee that someone will have/find the answers and I'd also say that they'll surprise us. Besides, this will get everyone's mind off of the games that are a little over 24 hours away.

Assement on this year's Jumpers....
Haven't seen the Jumpers this year; however, IMO, John Cole is their most dangerous weapon. Scotty and Ray-Ray get all of the press-publicity, but it is Cole who gives them a major threat every time he touches the ball as well.

Paintsville at Somerset
Ok, just remember that I told you that this kid will remind you of Draughn. I don't care how much he weighs, Pugh is a PHYSICAL football player.

Paintsville at Somerset
For Somerset fans who haven't seen the Tigers, get ready to see "The Cole-Train II". Pugh may be a little less powerful, but he is much faster/quicker than Cole Draughn was for Pulaski. His performance in week 1 of the playoffs was very reminiscent of Draughn's 2003 performance against Waggener.

All-State Candidates
I would not trade Johnathan Denham for any running back in the state. The only reason he isn't on everyone's mind is because the Maroons don't style their offense around him. I look for him to announce his presence with authority Friday night against Boyle.
