Assement on this year's Jumpers....

Featured Replies

Let's talk about this years Jumpers. What do you guys think about them? Do they have what it takes, who do you like for them who do coaches hate having to contain against them? Let's hear everybody's thoughts.....

Haven't seen the Jumpers this year; however, IMO, John Cole is their most dangerous weapon. Scotty and Ray-Ray get all of the press-publicity, but it is Cole who gives them a major threat every time he touches the ball as well.

This year, Somerset is much better than last year and could compete with the disappointing 2003 and 2002 teams. They play smarter on defense and if the continue to put emphasis on that side of the ball, they will be a solid Class A contender this year. They are always solid on offense and special teams, but like I said in the Paintsville post "Defense wins championships".
