Tonight on WYMT, Brian Milam commented that a legendary coach has resigned, but that they wouldn't announce it until they confirmed it with the school. Any news on who this could be?

I was also wondering the same thing...does anyone know anything?

Several coaches around but not many that you could even begin to consider as being legendary.

 

Only ones that come to my mind that would even begin to be mentioned in that category would be BMR?, Johnny Martin?, Al Holland? Maybe there is someone else out there with a great deal of successful tenure, but nobody else that immediately comes to mind.

Yes! They said it was a "legendary" mountain basketball coach. There are not many that would meet the legendary status.

No, he is from Johnson County. He played his high school basketball at Meade Memorial under coach Wendall Wallen. He did coach at Powell Co. in the 70's.
