Ballard @ Central Hardin
Maybe. Ballard has decent speed and looking at Central Hardin's schedule all three of their losses came to teams with good team speed.

Ballard @ Central Hardin
Why do you feel Central Hardin wins?

Ballard @ Central Hardin
Central Hardin relies way to much on the run and Ballard does have a good tandem of linebackers that were effective stopping long runs by Trinity's running backs. Ballard wins convincingly, maybe not running clock but comfortably.

Butler/Lafayette Updates rescheduled for Saturday
What was the score and how far along was the game when it was suspended?

Pleasure Ridge Park vs. McCracken County
Fair points. I still think PRP wins though.

Pleasure Ridge Park vs. McCracken County
I've seen both, McCracken in a scrimmage and PRP in a game both against Trinity. I just think PRP will be to fast for them. The bus ride will be a factor but I think PRP can overcome it.

6A playoffs, first round, running clock games. My predictions.
It's the comparison to other sports. You've said that all football teams should make the playoffs because all teams in other sports do. If basketball, baseball etc. could only play one game a week all teams couldn't make the playoffs. For what it's worth I would have no issue if fewer teams made playoffs in those sports either. I think football season is to long and that 15 games is to many. Top 2 from each district and we're done by Thanksgiving. And yes, I think basketball season is to long as well.

6A playoffs, first round, running clock games. My predictions.
Not entirely true. They give a school x dollars per travel party member capping at a predetermined number. For the most part is doesn't cover actual costs.

6A playoffs, first round, running clock games. My predictions.
When football can play multiple games every week then football can be compared to every other sport.

4 seed upsets?
McCracken Co will not get a running clock on PRP, in fact I think PRP can pull that upset. Also think that both Ryle and Lafayette get running clocks on their respective opponents.

Seneca vs Central Hardin
A 3 seeded Trinity won a couple of years ago too but if I were king of the KHSAA they wouldn't have been in. I just fail to see where it does either team any goo to get blasted in the first round.

6A playoffs, first round, running clock games. My predictions.
These games will have a running clock. Male over Daviess Co. Manual over Henderson Co. St. X over Mullenberg Co. Trinity over Ohio Co. Ballard over Meade Co. Central Hardin over Seneca Ryle over Henry Clay Scott Co over Jeffersontown SK over Clark Co Lafayette over Butler These games will not have running clocks. PRP over McCracken Co.(In a show of just how badly the talent is skewed in 6A I believe this 1 vs. 4 game will be the most competitive game in the first round and could go either way. I picked PRP in the prediction thread so I'm going to stay with that.) North Hardin over Eastern Cooper over Bryan Station Conner over Dunbar Madison Central over Campbell Co Tates Creek over Boone Co. (this one could possibly be an RC, if it were at Tates Creek I think it would be) 10 of 16.

Seneca vs Central Hardin
I admire Seneca in that they don't give up and they play hard but this will be a running clock. And to answer your question Seneca has to be in the playoffs because everyone makes the playoffs in basketball. I don't understand the logic either but that's the answer always given when that question is asked.

Simon Kenton 39 Scott 7
If they fielded a team Marksberry would try to schedule them.
-
Pleasure Ridge Park vs. McCracken County
PRP is for real. Western KY goes 0-5 in first round games.

Otherwise they would have played a 6A power like Seneca or Jeffersontown. :lol2:

Ryle 32 Simon Kenton 25
What's up with SK putting the visiting teams bench in front of the stands? What's up with SK putting their cheerleaders by the visiting bench? No one from SK has any room to say anything about how their team may be distracted when they are on the road.

Mr. Football 10-27-16 Edition
So a kid who is at a solid (arguably the best) program in the state should be penalized because he only starts 1 year? Mr. Football is supposed to be the best senior player. All that said Spencer probably won't be a finalist for the reasons stated, in my mind that's wrong but I don;t get a vote.

And maybe they will. That remains to be seen.

Bluegrasspreps' Class 6A Rankings - Discussion (10/25)
Until Ryle or SK (or any NKY school) prove otherwise this opinion will remain. Since Boone Co decades ago has any NKY team made it to the championship game and not been blown out? FWIW I don't think Ryle or SK make it past Scott Co or Lafayette in regionals.

Mr. Football 10-27-16 Edition
Good thing that people on this site don't vote for it then isn't it? I've noticed people including stuff like DI commit, lifetime stats etc. Is that supposed to be criteria for the award? Maybe he will and maybe he won't be a finalist but IMVHO he should be.

Mr. Football 10-27-16 Edition
Spencer Blackburn from Trinity HAS to be in the mix. Led his team to an undefeated regular season with wins over Ensworth, Brentwood Academy, Male and St. X. A threat both running and passing.
