One play in and a 30 minute delay. CovCath had a 6 yard gain. I am going to BW3's as it may be awhile.

I will say this-I like Noon, and he has a chance to be really good especially running the ball but he had absolutely no chance other than a play or two. There were multiple Colonels dialed in on him.

I go back to what I said this week: coaching will win this game. Eddie had these boys ready-BELIEVE ME. I don’t think Highlands is as bad as as they showed tonight , but after the 1st TD this game was never in doubt in my eyes. You cannot run the ball consistently on this CCH team. Oh yeah...their 2 best linebackers are underclassman. They also owned the line of scrimmage both ways. Pretty good recipe. I honestly thought a 7-10 point win, but certainly not this.

Glad to see for the 1st time in 5 years no one is predicting a CCH blowout. Coach Weinrich wins this one, and he should be rewarded a long-term contract.

I think coaching wins this game for CCH. 2 weeks to prepare and watch the Birds last week live. I can’t imagine Terry Brown’s defense giving up many points. Even though the WR core is a bit decimated for CCH right now, Eddie will throw in some wrinkles. CCH by 7.

Looks right to me. The difference this year is not much separation between CCH and everyone else in the Top 5.

That was the best half of football I have seen out of Highlands since probably 2014. I am not sure if they got that much better in the last couple of weeks, or if Conner was just dreadful last night as the Birds had receivers open by 10 yards some plays and the QB once past the line could have drove a Buick through those holes. They played with a lot of energy. Congrats-I think the HHS/CCH game is going to be quite competitive.

I was reminded of that-he is a GAME CHANGER for them come playoff time. Fastest kid on the field.

CCH JV won 41-20....best JV Boone team I have seen in a long....long time. They have some skill. Zion Mason will be making his Varsity debut at WR for CCH against Highlands. He is a game changer, and should not be playing JV.

This game was heading towards a running clock in the 1st Half until back to back fumbles for CCH. Give BC credit as they did not back down. A good time for a bye week foe the Colonels with all the depreciation at the WR position in the first 4 weeks. The sophomores stepped up tonight, but are now going to face tougher competition opposite Reardon. Nobody knows what Skylar’s status will be game by game so we can’t count on him. The defense has been great other than a few missed assignments. They are hitting reallly hard, and making plays. Still have to cut down on the false starts/illegal shifts that put them in long situations.
