Turnovers were the Camels demise again vs Ryle. They had their chances, just couldn't capitalize like Ryle did. Murray is a lot of fun to watch. He initiates the hitting as a RB. He is top-notch. Not sure I understood the quick kicks that gave Ryle the ball at midfield on 2 or 3 occasions. Watershed season for the Camels. Really good junior and freshman classes in the pipeline so things should only be getting better for them. I'd be interested to hear from folks who were at the game, if they too thought the Ryle player touched the ball on the punt inside the 10 in the 1st half that Campbell pounced on in the endzone.

I'd say because the RBs and QB are very good.

I think Brandon Brown needs to carry the ball a lot in this game for CCH. He is much quicker than Buckley, and seemed to get through the holes created with ease. He averaged 6 or 7 yards per carry.

Flynn didn't have his typical amount of tackles and was relatively quiet, I'm sure that will change in 2 weeks.

There is not much depth for CCH at the skill positions. The backup QB this year is John Wehry who is the current JV QB I believe. Zach Isler, who would be the current backup is out for the year. At RB, Buckley and Brown share duties. WR-I saw Hennessey in the game Friday and he didn't play much all year. The guys you saw Friday are typically the only guys you will ever see on the field.

CCH played far from as well as they can, especially defensively. Both teams have room for improvement. I'm not sure if any adjusting HHS does in 2 weeks will be good enough to stop Bovard and Sutton.

Am I missing something? You seem to be the only one still complaining. Most of us CCH fans have already moved on from this game. Last time I checked 2001 was not 12 years ago.

I doubt we will see a more exciting game this year on any level.

Brandon Brown ran at will when he was put at RB. I think he could be a weapon in the rematch.

At least he was right almost 60% of the time on the yardline during the course of the game.

HHS has won 37 in a row, but they are not 37-0 the past 4 years. They lost 2 or 3 games in 03'.

I'm with you, and that is a great story.

He is a big and strong enough kid to run over some people if he wanted to. I see why the coaches don't want him running though, CCH's backup has been out all year due to having Tommy John surgery.

Agreed, but I would also like to see CCH end the 'Birds streak of 10 years or so of district championships.

Hopefully the seniors will be out of the game by the 2nd Q. Lets go into Ft. Thomas next week with no injuries.
