I expect the same as you, and don't doubt Code as a great coach. I just will be curious next year to see what he can do without names like Cooper, and McDole in the lineup. He had inherited possibly the 2 most talented Brossart senior classes ever.

I will be interested to see how he does next year with all the talent gone.

And as I see as Maverick pointed out, Chad Davis started as well for the class of 96'. He too was done after freshman year.

Wrong again as usual. Raybourne started almost every game, and certainly started all the tourney games. I can't recall, but he may have been frosh tourney mvp. Mike Goetz started almost every game too. Romito and Roedig were both starters! I didn't mean Foltz, I meant Bryan Berger. He started quite a few games. Why am I wasting my time.

Well if you're going to call me out on it: Class of 97': 4 starters from frosh team never made it to their senior year- Raybourne, Goetz, and Nader quit after freshman year, Skidmore quit before his senior year. Class of 96': 3 starters- Romito, Roeding, Foltz all were done after freshman or sophomore year. I rest my case chief.

There are about 5 guys who played on D routinely though, and each started a few games I believe: Furnish-S VanSant-LB/DB Bruggeman-LB Bruner-DL Buckley-LB Defense will be the strength of this team IMO.

If I recall correctly, Lloyd had a solid freshman team, they may have gone undefeated. So there is some talent coming down the pike.

The person who told me Wolfe applied, was one of the candidates for the job. I'll take his word on it.

I for one thought Wolfe was going to get the job. He is a great coach, and an even better guy, and he has been doing all of the right things the last couple of weeks up at CCH, you know, handshakes and kissing babies.

Anybody know what Finneytown's record was prior to Brossart compared to where they have been during his stint? Did he grow up a NKY guy, or have any kind of roots here?

I'm guessing in the mid-90's, 3 or 4 of the top players in most classes chose not to play. Some concentrated on other sports, some decided it wasn't fun any longer.

For whatever reason, many of the top freshman back in the Coach T era choose not to continue their careers after either their freshman or sophomore years.

2 of the final 3 are obvious, I wonder who the the 3rd finalist was.
