  1. I would guess Indian Hill and Dixie to be the 2 best passing teams at this point.
  2. I heard CCH is scrimmaging Rodenberg and Roger Bacon this year.
  3. The fact that he posed for a picture in the paper is even odder. I have been told that this guy was a teacher's aid up until 2006 at Holmes who was a disaster altogether.
  4. Also, one thing not mentioned was Luke Maile was named D1 player of the year, and Jimmy Ryan was named D2 player of the year. http://news.kypost.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070526/SPT0402/705260375/1026/NEWS02
  5. You keep calling me out, and that's fine. You'll find out in time.
  6. By the way congratulations to Highlands. It has been about 5 years since they have mattered in baseball.
  7. The Camels threw their ace, while CCH threw what they had left from a tortuous week. As somebody said earlier, the body of work for CCH puts them in the top 2.
  8. Well so do I, so we'll just have to wait and see. I can assure you this, he will not be at Silver Grove next year.
  9. When I was in school, I felt so much venom towards Highlands.... it was pretty sad actually. As I got out of highschool, and gradually became friends with some of the dudes I had despised at one time, I progressively learned to not really hate HHS at all anymore, and somewhat root for them outside of the CCH game. I do think that "somewhat rooting" will be the extent of my support however.
  10. For CCH, Furnish, Bruggeman, VanSant, and Bruner were all standouts last year. If they choose to play Buckley at LB, he will be a force as well.
  11. Didn't Dale say he had about a dozen this year?
  12. Great story and show of class from one biggest rival to another.
  13. He also weighs 200+, and I'm sure he'll be happy to introduce himself to the LBs when he breaks the line of scrimmage.
  14. You consistently made bold predictions last year about HHS teeing off on CCH, and you really proved to be prophetic.
  15. Of course they are. They were 0-2 last year. Buckley will lay his share of hits on them as well.
  16. That is not really saying much, the vast majority of the state will seemingly be making the playoffs starting the fall.
  17. Dave Lapham reported on the radio today that a friend of his was there and saw it, and it all started with Porter and his entourage approaching Levi with Porter saying something along the lines of "I heard you been bad-mouthing me". Seconds later, Levi had Porter on the ground, was eventually pulled off of him, and then it was supposedly over. Then Porter and his crew approached him later, with this time Porter knocking Levi down, and then "kicking him in the head". This is the report that Lapham provided that 1530 has been using all afternoon on the tri-hourly local updates.
  18. I'm not defending Tubby by any means, but the facts don't lie. 03': UK- Elite 8, Duke- Sweet 16 04': UK- 2nd Rd, Duke - Final 4 05: UK- Elite 8, Duke- Sweet 16 06': UK- 2nd Rd, Duke- Sweet 16 07': UK- ?, Duke- 1st Rd The tourney seems to be the only report card for coaches and programs nowadays (fair or unfair), and Tubby has done better than Coach K in recent history.
  19. Have no clue. Your post indicated you were surprised CCH was ranked ahead of Ryle even though Ryle beat CCH last year, and I was simply adding that CCH also knocked off Ryle, so why be surprised about the rankings. The head-to-head between them means nothing. I have no idea what CCH has this year outside of Bleser, Popham, and the loaded Sophomore class. However CCH has been in the top 20 in the state more years than not under Coach Krumps skippering, so I think #16 sounds about right.
