When I was in school, I felt so much venom towards Highlands.... it was pretty sad actually. As I got out of highschool, and gradually became friends with some of the dudes I had despised at one time, I progressively learned to not really hate HHS at all anymore, and somewhat root for them outside of the CCH game. I do think that "somewhat rooting" will be the extent of my support however.

For CCH, Furnish, Bruggeman, VanSant, and Bruner were all standouts last year. If they choose to play Buckley at LB, he will be a force as well.

Have no clue. Your post indicated you were surprised CCH was ranked ahead of Ryle even though Ryle beat CCH last year, and I was simply adding that CCH also knocked off Ryle, so why be surprised about the rankings. The head-to-head between them means nothing. I have no idea what CCH has this year outside of Bleser, Popham, and the loaded Sophomore class. However CCH has been in the top 20 in the state more years than not under Coach Krumps skippering, so I think #16 sounds about right.
