The only game they lost the rest of the year was Elder.

How could it have been any worse? They scored on virtually every drive!

CCH didn't exactly help the cause either: fumble inside their 20, Highlands onside kicked and recovered in the 1st Q, a punt return TD, personal foul penalty on another drive. Usually CCH is the one with the bigger boys, however that is not the case this year. Hopefully from a colonel perspective, that after some of these boys hit the weights for a few years, and get a grasp on the offense, they can slice the deficit a bit.

They spread it out usually every couple of plays, which I think was more than they did last year.

Just the obvious factor comes to mind: CCH is a extremely senior-laden class with not much depth from underclassmen, while HHS is loaded in classes 9-11. I know you can't put much stock in Frosh games, but these games haven't even been close the last 3 years, especially this year. Each year has gotten worse. Here's hoping the 3 kids on crutches on the CCH sidelines were 3 future all-staters.

I have never seen such a disparity in talent between CCH and Highlands as there is this year. I have been told that this is maybe the most talented Highlands class in recent memory, but you should never see a freshman margin of victory as ridiculous as this. I will also say that the CCH freshman coaches need to light a fire under the players a little better. Ever since Coach Haskamp stopped leading the Frosh, every game I have been to there has been little emotion, and complete disarray for the most part. Polar opposite of when Haskamp was leading.

There is no doubt. Its this year for CCH, or who knows when.

Get a clue. If Murray would have played in that scrimmage, it still would have been a 3 TD victory for CCH. Ryle will be lucky to "upset" single A NCC. They were unable to do that last year.

IMO, if Highlands doesn't turn the ball over, they win the game. CCH had 4 turnovers inside Elder territory, 3 of them inside the 20. Elder doesn't have the strong power running team they have had in the past. They are solid, but not overpowering. The QB was very inaccurate. I like the Birds' by a TD.
