Taylor Co. has the farm back in addition to Macon - edge Taylor (0-1) Adair Co. is Adair Co. - Big edge Monroe (1-1) LaRue Co. is building again. - Slight edge to Monroe for being at home (2-1) Barren Co. is better than last year - Edge to Barren (2-2) Metcalfe Co. lost a lot of key people but returns DeLeon - Slight edge to Monroe at home (3-2) Greenwood is improved and has enough people up front to win - Edge Greenwood (3-3) Glasgow has a ton back and the game is at Glasgow - Edge Glasgow (3-4) Green County also has a ton back and will host the game - Edge Green (3-5) Allen Co. I'm not sure I follow about Monroe Co. They won two games last year. Their seniors may not have lost in middle school or JV but many were starters on a team that won two games last year. Ever since they crushed Trigg in the first round and nearly won the region, they have been a team of underachievers since Myers took the Russellville job.

Are there going to be rankings on here again this year? The previews were good. I'm curious to see where they are going to be ranked.

True, but what did they do at the varsity level last year? I agree that a fourth place finish should cause some people to scratch their heads in Tompkinsville. I think they finish ahead of Metcalfe but it's tough to beat a team with a great back. I think Monroe is looking at a third place finish in the district but that's why they play the games. Should be a fun district to watch.

I don't think there is any comparison in the Cats Pause Preview and what I've read on here. Best previews are on BGP by far.

I think that sounds right. Both Green Co. and Glasgow have a bunch back and I think most people think Monroe underachieved last year with all of the hype surrounding their junior class. But it will no doubt be a improved district this year.

Boone Goldsmith has apparently been ruled eligible to play at Boyle County. His parents moved to Boyle from Lawrence County with no job waiting, and wanted his son to play at Boyle County. Dakota Euton was ruled ineligible to play basketball at Scott County. His dad took a job somewhere and had the job before they moved. How are they different and why is one eligible and one not?

It was ridiculous for Jack Haskins to run a passing offense with non-passing quarterbacks. Some of the players told me that the kids from Southern Illinois were calling the offensive play on the line before Kentucky called the play at the line. Judging from the stats, I'd say they were right.
