Southern Illinois won the fourth annual all-star game at Murray State 21-7 Friday. There were about as many people there for this game as there was last week's East/West game.

WKY tried running passing offense with run-oriented quarterbacks and it showed. Lone Oak's Corey Robinson headed off to Troy and did not play. Southern Illinois had some nice skill people and a quarterback headed to Illinois State.

It was ridiculous for Jack Haskins to run a passing offense with non-passing quarterbacks. Some of the players told me that the kids from Southern Illinois were calling the offensive play on the line before Kentucky called the play at the line. Judging from the stats, I'd say they were right.
