  1. Everyone’s “tone”/“vibe” doesn’t sound good at all.
  2. Wild last 40 laps or so.
  3. Who said it was end all, be all? 99% of the state is rural so that excuse doesn’t hold water. They have had good athletes and I’m sure more walking the halls that do not come out and they consistently have been man handled by smaller county schools. Losing is contagious and it seems Hopkins Central is ok with it.
  4. 4 wins IMO is still bad. And I’d venture to say a lot of those wins were against other bottom dwellers like the Muhlenbergs, Todd Central, Webster Co., etc. Or against teams that were down a year or two and were also 4-5 win teams. To me Hopkins Central has a large enough enrollment and a good enough pool of athletes to be better than they’ve been over 30 years.
  5. I’m curious who those teams they beat were. Do you have a link? And an 8 win season, and a few 6 win seasons over 25-30 years does not change my opinion that overall South/Central Hopkins have been consistently bad for 3 decades.
  6. It’s always amazed me how consistently bad South Hopkins (pre-consolidation)/Hopkins Central (post-consolidation) have been for the last 25-30 years.
  7. Will this be the year PT breaks their losing streak?
  8. I’ve seen Rick Fox and his daughters on the helicopter online. That’d make 6 people. And that both he and Kobe are pilots? I’m sure we’ll find out by the end of the day who was on board?..
  9. It was during the Pro Bowl and they had ABC news cut in about it.
  10. Maybe I just misunderstood the news guy reporting from LA, that his daughters were on the helicopter as well?
  11. I was surprised McCracken County’s WR Franklin Hayes and his 1556 yards and 26 TD’s was left off... Not much presence west of E-town.
  12. Have they been competitive since then?
  13. Last time I recall them being good was when Daniel Ard was playing there.
  14. I didn’t realize they went up to 6A this year.
  15. Absolutely a great place to live! As far as football, they have 1A talent playing 5A football. They benefit by dropping down a couple classes.
  16. Tough place to have success.
  17. When did Harrodsburg close? And what school took it’s place?
  18. In the last 20+ years, there have been 2-3 teams that had a legit shot, just had Mayfield in their region and when they made it past them, met Beechwood. I’d love to see Crittenden get back someday.
  19. Does he have to sit out as a transfer? I don’t know how that stuff works.
  20. Glad to see Crittenden getting recognized! They found their QB late in the season, and I’m unsure on the exact number of starters returning, but I believe it’s in the neighborhood of 18-20. Hopefully all the kids put in the off-season work.
  21. I’d say rest it if he’s intending on college football. I’m recovering from 2nd ACL right now. No way I risk further injury if I’m him. And yea I feel for Coach Croft. Taking over a depleted team this year.
  22. I’m a McCracken fan so I hope he makes it back, but I’m also a realist. The mental aspect will be the hardest wound to heal.
  23. How serious is his injury? Will he be able to play basketball?
