The future for Holy Cross will be completely dependent on three things: 1. Their ability to grow their middle school program and keep those kids at Holy Cross District High School. 2. Find players who WANT to play defense. The Indians too often get pushed around on defense and tonight was no exception. 3. Get an offensive line that can sustain blocks long enough to allow the offense to do…anything? This team returns a lot next year…if they choose to return. Hope they do. -CardinalsFan

FINAL Ludlow - 26 Holy Cross - 10 Not a very inspiring effort by the Indians. They did lose their starting QB for most of the second half but that really didn’t matter. Ludlow clearly wanted this game more. Funny given that earlier in the season the JV squads played each other and Holy Cross absolutely boat races them, 36-0. Would be nice to see Holy Cross finish with a W to end the regular season. Can't feel good about their chances against Carrol County the following week but it's been a rough, rough season for the Indians. Looking forward to the move to Single A (where they rightfully belong) and the continued growth of the middle school program. Wishing the very best for Holy Cross tonight. It is their homecoming and they have had a very rough week as one of their players suffered a terrible loss in his family. Practice was cancelled on Wednesday out of respect for this young man, which was absolutely the right thing to do. Who knows how the Indians will play tonight as I am sure their hearts are weighing heavy with thoughts of their fellow teammate and his family. Maybe they come out inspired and make it a close game for 3 quarters, who knows. -CardinalsFan
