I think this game will be closer than most people expect. Holy Cross is better than their record shows. I'll say Lloyd by a couple TD's.

Really?  You are much more informed here but I am thinking more like 4 TDs.

That could happen. Just call it another one of my gut feeling calls. But this one is certainly not on the level of my gut feeling that Lex Cath would beat Boyle County. Holy Cross needs to not allow big plays and not turn the ball over.

Lloyd should win this game easy. Not for sure but I think our starting quarterback was released last week and might be playing. That’s going to change Lloyds offense. The quarterback got hurt the first game of the season and hasn’t seen any action since. Lloyd by 3 scores.

If Lloyd replaces Sebastian at QB, it is a mistake unless the "starting QB" is a total stud.

Agreed.

Sebastian was VERY impressive. This team would be downright treacherous if they had a more polished, effective passing game.

Will be interesting to see if Neiderman/Brossart spend the next four weeks hyperfocused on trying to develop some sort of a semblance of an aerial assault for possible Round 3/4 matchups in the post season.

Not really enough for him on paper. I don’t think he finished the first half against Dixon but looked very good. So I’m not sure what their decision is going to be. If he goes back to quarterback that will give Lloyd another target as a receiver or possibly using him in the backfield with 25. But I agree Sebastian needs to have the ball.

Absolutely no chance of a quarterback change.

Wishing the very best for Holy Cross tonight. It is their homecoming and they have had a very rough week as one of their players suffered a terrible loss in his family. Practice was cancelled on Wednesday out of respect for this young man, which was absolutely the right thing to do.  Who knows how the Indians will play tonight as I am sure their hearts are weighing heavy with thoughts of their fellow teammate and his family.  Maybe they come out inspired and make it a close game for 3 quarters, who knows.

After a Holy Cross punt, the Lloyd drive is capped off by a 20 yard run by Zulager.

14-0 Lloyd
