The word on campus last week was that Teague, Jones and Gilchrist were coming back if they didn't win the title. I guess things have kind of changed since then though. This is a really weak draft for point guards, so Teague may project as a first rounder for that reason. I believe Jones should stay another year, just comes across as a big kid, but the longer they stay, the lower their draft stock seems to fall.

It was close, real close. A very smart play by Craft imo, caught everyone by surprise, maybe even the ref.

If I had to pick one, I would say Siva. He should stay and I don't believe that he would hear anything that should lead him to declare. Dieng would get drafted, but doubt he's interested at this time.

I hate to say this, but if Luckie does a UK game, I will take the points and the opponent. Can a coach blackball an official? If so, I don't think Kentucky will see him. -

Didn't he "T" Cal up a day or two after that game from across the floor when Cal was walking back to the bench. It could have been someone else, but I remember the announcer calling that official out for having rabbit ears. Tell me that Jamie Luckie is not one of the Final 4 officials:eek:. -
I hope Dieng's attitude never changes...........we could all learn something from this young man.:thumb:

I saw an interview with Donovan in which he stated that he should have had his guys run something different because their pick and roll offense obviously did not work down the stretch. He could be covering some for his players though, he's not the type to place blame on players or throw them under the bus...

Pitino has been playing all the right cards lately. I think the T(not that I thought he wanted to get it) actually worked into UL's favor as it seemed to galvanize the Cards. I hate the foul call when someone supposedly trips over the defenders feet, one could just about draw a foul at any time by "tripping" over the defender.

The adjustment Pitino made was with about 8-9 minutes left, leaving Deng in the lane to shut off the Florida drives to the basket. Florida never changed their offense after that, which led to them blowing a double digit lead and hardly scoring a field goal in the last 8 minutes of the game. They had to either get Deng away from the basket by making him guard someone, drive and dish off or pull up and shoot the 12 footer in front of him. What I recall is Deng blocks or altered shots, wild attempts at the basket and contested 3 pointers. I really like Donovan as a coach, but in this game and in a couple of the UK games, he either didn't try to make late game adjustments or his players just did not listen.
