:thumb: Raceland and Pikeville caught Ashland at the right time IMO...I would like to see Carter and Thomas both at RB...that would be one of the toughest RB duos around, even in 5A...I think Ashland will be a completely different team come playoff time...

I thought Ashland was more dangerous with #3 at QB with Thomas and Carter at RB...that is a very tough RB duo...

That's probably it...I remember being very shocked that Pikeville lost...it was probably the first or second game of the 1990 season, right after Pikeville won three championships in a row...I also remember Raceland had a couple of VERY fast backs...

Raceland didn't beat Pikeville in 1991. Pikeville's 1991 team went into the state championship game undefeated and lost to Beechwood and Brandon Berger. I remember being at the game at Raceland when Raceland won...can't remember the year but it wasn't 1991...

Color me skeptical. We will find out Friday. If Prestonsburg wins, they will be in the Top 10.

If Ashland struggled to stop Raceland's offense, they will struggle against Pikeville as well. Pikeville has a lot of weapons and a lot of speed, and maybe the best back Ashland will see all year in Daniel Harmon. If Pikeville can avoid turnovers and penalties they will win.

For the Hazard doubters, the Bulldogs are going to surprise some people. I look for them to beat Clay Co., without arguably their best player, Michael Campbell, who I heard would still be out. I forgot about Southwestern too. They would be ahead of Sheldon Clark and Hazard in my top 10.
