  1. I'm torn on who I would rather play as a Wolves' fan, assuming they take care of business in the Golden State series. Minnesota has beaten Denver six times in a row, including last year's Game 7 win in Denver. They know them and aren't scared. OKC is frightening because of their ability to switch and defend at a high level. Plus, Shai foul-baiting all game. But, they are young and are showing some holes this post-season.
  2. Ant also said Finchy got into them. Told Ant and the crew they were playing like a bunch of losers. Ant doesn't mind being called out and coached. Competitive as all get-out.
  3. Maybe Nico knew what he was doing all along? In a near miracle, the Mavericks will select #1 in next month's NBA draft and select what most feel is a generational type of talent in Cooper Flagg. You can't make this up.
  4. Minnesota took a commanding 3-1 series lead, capping off their second straight victory at Golden State. The Wolves will look to close out the Warriors on Wednesday. The GSWs hope to steal Wednesday's game and have Steph miraculously return with a three-day break between games 5 and 6. Finish them, Wolves.
  5. And just like that, Boston's fortunes have taken a devastating turn. In the closing moments of last night’s game, just as defeat seemed imminent, Jayson Tatum went down with what appeared to be an Achilles injury. With the team already projected to be over the second apron, it was expected that they’d need to part with key contributors this offseason. Now, with Tatum's injury, next season suddenly looks bleak. The Knicks are one win away from the conference finals. Most likely against Indiana... just how we all predicted it would go.
  6. It’s Mitch Johnson. They announced it right after Pop stepped away.
  7. Oh, you must’ve missed it. LeBron, Luka, and Reaves, were all apparently injured throughout the first round, as has been released in the aftermath of their defeat. It is a wonder they were able to field a team coming down the stretch. This all could have been remedied if LeBron had more help, though.
  8. The Mavs' front office, without a doubt. I can follow the logic of wanting to move off Luka because he is a pest, never being in shape, and them doubting his ability to be the centerpiece of a championship team. But what makes the trade so bad is how little they got in return and the fact that he was not shopped to what would have been a multitude of other suitors. AD is no slouch, but they should have gotten Austin Reaves out of the deal, too.
  9. Is this real? So this guy's worst grade for all 32 NFL teams is a B minus?
  10. I think a lot of the stuff that comes out about prospects during the draft process is downright shameful. In that, it shouldn’t be said. But, there is A LOT of smoke behind Shedeur’s process that raises the eyebrows. Sounds like a lot of teams didn’t have him on their draft boards. My gut tells me team Sanders knew he wasn’t going to be highly regarded, and they went Bronny mode in trying to hype him up and had teams relying on game films for their only evaluation. They tried to speak it into existence and it didn’t work.
  11. I believe we got a Tebow situation going on here. I’m just talking fandom here, not performance. The Broncos miscalculated the public outcry and support for Tebow. I’ll never forget I was at a Broncos/Titans game and the crowd was chanting “Tebow, Tebow” despite he, at that juncture of the season, was a backup. The coaches spent countless post-games and after practice questions about when Tebow would be inserted. This is going to be the Shedeur experience for whoever drafts him. UNLESS, he goes to a team as a backup with a top shelf QB that’s isn’t going to be threatened and fans would not have that level of expectation for him. Cincinnati, for example.
  12. It was a HOF career at CU. 13-12
  13. Many have been predicting this. And not that I’m a draft expert, but I view him as the best QB in this draft. Not that that’s saying much… but, what do I know?
  14. Maybe, but I think someone will move up to take him. Maybe? The media, et. al have been treating the Sanders draft stock drop as some kind of miscarriage of justice. By most accounts Cam Ward (the clear #1 QB) would have been at best the 5th QB taken last year. It’s just a bad QB year and Sanders is not worth the risk. And just because some pundits had him as a high draft pick, those projections were before he was worked out. Unless you’re a can’t miss prospect, there’s wide variation from the end of the college football season until draft night.
  15. Considering he posted a 27-5-1 record as a starter, compared to Sanders’ 13-12 record, I’d say he has every right to be a little miffed. Kordell was a bad man in college. The Buffs finished in the top 10 twice, including a third-place finish in 1994. Shedeur's first season was bad record-wise, and in the second season commanded a back-end top 25-30ish team. I don't understand the point of it other than whitewashing future historians that will think, "Hey, that Sanders guy must have been an all-time college football great!" I almost wonder if it was something petty where Deion had beef with Kordell and this was his way of needling him. That would be funny, can't lie.
  16. There would be a demand for his resignation.
  17. Saw they officially retired Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders' numbers at Colorado. I suppose I follow why Hunter would get this honor, not sure why Shedeur did.
  18. Top 5 moment in Inside NBA history.
  19. We are just getting started. Didn't get to bed until 1:30 AM watching Wolves/Lakers last night.
  20. 80 or so days later and myself and the rest of the NBA world is still trying to figure out the dumbest trade in the history of sports.
  21. As Shannon Sharpe would say, these kids are majoring in eligibility.
  22. Let's be real. The college eligibility requirements have been a joke well before NIL came around.
  23. Much of that is dependent upon where they're from. Neymar and Renaldo from Brazil are both first names. We often think some of their nicknames are their first/last names. Pele and Pepe to name a couple.
  24. Williams. I think he had a lot of untapped potential as a secondary playmaker, which could have been better showcased with more talented players. There were games where the dude had to be the primary ball handler and playmaker. He isn't that.
