I don’t like this either. 

This is a date more commonly associated with the Champions Classic. The Champions Classic has moved back a week to November 18 (it was the 12th last year). My guess is this television driven.

This will be the earliest meeting between the two schools since 1993 and only the third ever game played in November. However, one of those two meetings was the renewal of the series on November 26, 1983, which was the season opener for Kentucky.

I'm for it. Some of the early games are so dull and really a drag to watch. 

Set my clock around this game one weekend, Champions Classic the next. Mix in some quality NFL and college football games...

Only thing I'm not crazy about is that it's on a Tuesday night rather than a holiday Friday or Saturday. I like some Kentucky bourbon during these matchups. 

Put me under the category of "Don't care when they play."  Adds a nice bit of interest to a portion of the schedule that is usually loaded with ho-hum Mid Major opponents.

It's not football, so a November loss for either side isn't keeping you from accomplishing anything.

Trust me I've got plenty, but I'm not sure the rest of both programs fans, can say the same. Make it on a Saturday or Friday evening and it makes life easier for the majority of fans.
