Coach Weedman has coaching in his blood. His father was one of the best high school girl's basketball coaches of all time in this state of Kentucky at Oldham County. He is a great young man that I'm sure will be successful. If this is true??????????Then Henderson, one of the premier football programs in the state is looking for a coach rather late. Wonder what they will do? Surely if they hire someone from another school it will be a proven good head coach and now that school is looking. what a dominoe effect this could have on the top programs in the state.

The school's pay for those trophies. If you win one you have to buy it. It comes out of the gate money from the second round playoff game. Question is, are they charging the same amount for that trophy as they did for the old one. I agree this one does not look as nice.

I guarantee Redman and Stewart will not leave the grass as high as Trinity did before they got their new field surface. I remember very well a Male Trinity game at Trinity where the grass was about 5 inches high to slow down the speed of Male. It did not work. If your better Trinity then just go over there and kick their butt. If not, quit making excuses for why you may lose

Does anyone know who has beaten the mighty Trinity and St. X since the turn of the century? They have loss only 11 times to state schools other than each other. Of those 11 losses, Bob Redman has 6 of those victories. Maybe playing only one pass coverage is the way to beat them. Multiple schemes both offensively and defensively does not make you a better coach. It is winning and losing, PERIOD!! The other 5 victories belong to Bob Sphire at Lex. Catholic over St. X in 2003. Dale Mueller at Highlands over Trinity in 2000. Lonnie Oldham at Seneca over Trinity in 2003. Joe Nichols over Trinity in 2003, and Tom Spritzy at Dixie Heights over Trinity in 2004. I'LL MATCH BOB REDMAN'S SUCCESS IN FOOTBALL TO ANYONE IN THE STATE.

I watched South play a couple of weeks ago against Cov. Catholic. South has some good players but they quit to easy. They just need to ask themselves this question "Did I give it my all every single snap?" If they can answer yes to that question then they will beat alot of people. I think the kids are a lot like their parents, looking for someone to blame instead of looking at the man in the in the glass (mirror). I hope South wins every game but they must overcome this problem.

Here are 4 players to watch from Trigg Co. Steven Wadlington-RB/OLB, Jr. 5'11" 184, rushed for over 100 yds./game including 2 games where he only played 2 quarters and 1 game where he only played a half. All 4 complete games is averaging just under 200 yds/game Jeffrey Adams-DT, So., 6'7" 271, he is turning into an animal. nobody can block him. Some say he is the best defensive lineman to ever play for Trigg and he is just a sophomore Kenny Turner-OT/DT, Jr., 6'6" 275, has been dominating on both sides of the ball. Big time offensive lineman recruit. Was as empressive as Micah Jones for 1 quarter and 3 minutes in early August Scott Sanders-OT, Sr., 6'2" 265, Playing much better during the second half of the year. :bounce: In the Western Ky Conference we have an all-star game and have talked about having all-star games in the month of June with other areas of the state. What ever area has a coaches association or think they may be interested in such games should contact our president (Coach Higgins, Trigg Co.) and disucss this possibility. There is a Greater Louisville Coaches Association, a Northern Ky. Coaches Association, a Central Ky. Coaches Association and I'm sure there is a Eastern Ky. Coaches Association. This could be done if they got together and discussed such an event. 3 games with each association rotating annually so that each area could play the other area. Games could be played at one central site so that all football fans could judge for themselves. EVERYONE THINKS THEIR AREA HAS THE BEST FOOTBALL. BOTTOM LINE IS KY FOOTBALL IS GETTING BETTER. WESTERN KY. FOOTBALL IS PRETTY GOOD.
