Will a public school win 6A this year?
That's where I stand on it myself. It takes a lot for me to take a Fayette County team seriously, they almost never live up to it. Scott County has proven themselves over the years as has Male and I could see either of them winning it this year. I mean I selfishly would like T to win it, but there is work to do to get there. I am sure they can do it, but when dealing with a young squad it is a bit unpredictable.

Male 17 Trinity 3
That is sadly true, he did indeed pass away.

Will a public school win 6A this year?
This year would be their best chance in some time. Male and SC should be the favorites for sure.

Scott County 10 Moeller (OH) 7
Not particularly, I am happy for SC for their win. I am just correcting inaccurate data. We lost, that's okay, I am not about to rage incoherently. If you have ever followed anything I have ever posted on here you should know that I am a stickler for details. 2013 Scott County 6A champs, nothing more.

Male 17 Trinity 3
Male came to play and definitely had the right gameplan. T will be better by season's end, but enough to come back from this? I hope so. The 2014 campaign really told me a lot about this staff and the next matchup won't go nearly as one sided. I would expect a playoff match to be decided by a field goal or less. But for now Male has solidified their claim to the top spot in 6A.

Is Godzilla dead?
Hoping to see a revival like 2003 or 2014 here, young team that will have much more experience by season's end. That said we definitely cannot claim to be the top team in KY at the moment. Maybe by the end of the season but we have work to do.

Who would have ever thought Trinity is 0-3?
Dingle, one of the leaders on D.

Who would have ever thought Trinity is 0-3?
2003 With losses to MBA. Cincy X, Manual, and Seneca.

Who would have ever thought Trinity is 0-3?
Now now, let's not be crazy. :lol2:

Who would have ever thought Trinity is 0-3?
T started out 0-4 in 2003, and went on to not lose another game that season. The injuries are more worrisome at this point, but it is giving the younger players much more experience.

Who would have ever thought Trinity is 0-3?
The RBs will return at some point but the safety is out for the season to the best of my knowledge.

Who would have ever thought Trinity is 0-3?
That is indeed the case.

Moeller (OH) 21 Trinity 14
The way these have been lost have been quite similar to 03, I honestly think things will be fine.
-
Moeller (OH) 21 Trinity 14
While the injuries are irritating now, it does bode well for later in the season when the younger players get their experience or the upperclassmen get healthy.
-
Moeller (OH) 21 Trinity 14
Honestly I am expecting more like 03 than 13. Young team taking their licks but will come back strong as the season wears on.

Trinity/Moeller (OH) Updates - 21 to 14 Moeller - Lighting Delay
Sounds like he is out for game at least.

It didn't help, nor did the injury to Dingle but they were still in a position to win. I wouldn't put this one solely on the injuries.

Any word on the injuries for the Rocks?

Warren Central (IN) 42 Trinity 41
Given the youth of this squad they will be absolute beasts by season's end.

BluegrassPreps Class 6A Rankings - Discussion (8/20)
It's absolutely precious when you all get cocky like this. Downright adorable. :bunny: If the big Louisville schools are overrated and they have dominated NKY and Lexington over the years what does that make those schools? Less then irrelevant? Cannon fodder? Hollow shells that just need a swift kick to collapse? Seems to be the case anytime they come to play the Rocks considering the last win against T from any of those schools was in what, 2004? Let's put up before we puff our chest. Trinity has proven themselves, X has proven themselves, Male has proven themselves, as has Scott County... NKY has proven to be nothing more than a minor speed bump consistently. So until NKY or Lexington can beat a quality team as opposed to just punching around the other also-rans, they will consistently be ranked below even a 1 loss team from the powerhouses.
