  1. They also have had regular titles in 2A and 3A.
  2. And to add that the top tier of teams in the County are almost all better than the top tier of other counties too.
  3. Exactly, 2003 taught me a lesson.
  4. Can you add V-Y Canis Majoris to that one?
  5. That is probably where I would start. I would honestly just flip a coin between Smith and LeFors.
  6. He likely will be when all is said and done, but it will take some time to get into the discussion with the names mentioned above. While he has made CAL a consistent 2A power, it takes more than 1 title to get into this group. I would be shocked if he doesn't do more in time though. He is good.
  7. I almost never venture in here but this is exactly what came to mind as I read this thread. No one seems to care that the top 3-4 teams are all from Louisville in 6A football but other sports why not? :lol2:
  8. To the names mentioned I couldn't argue against Haywood effectively as he is definitely one of the all time greats in KY. I think Wallace in BG definitely is worth a mention given the consistency of the program and the heights he has taken it to. Dale Mueller is another one who, though retired, was among the best of the best. His record at HHS speaks for itself. Bob Redmon was another who should be mentioned not just because of his successes but because he was quite possibly the pioneer in bringing more wide open offenses to KY. Chuck Smith has become the Chuck Norris of BGP but not unjustly as he took a BC program in the 90s that had been an afterthought and turned them into a juggernaut. I would be biased toward Beatty obviously, not just because of his titles and records in state but how he has led Trinity to be relevant beyond the borders of our state as well. That is something few have managed to do with any school in KY. Also as a T guy I would obviously be biased. I know there are many I am probably leaving off and this wasn't meant to be an all encompassing list, just some names that should be in discussion.
  9. That's fair, and I agree had Glaser been given 1 more year that would have been a title. The 2013 team was a perfect Glaser-Ball team.
  10. Honestly I thought this was the year in which it looked like it was actually starting to work. Of course that could have had more to do with the QB.
  11. I will say this for CAL you couldn't get much better a QB mentor than their head coach. He may not have had all the physical skills as a QB but he had a game sense better than most.
  12. Yeah, I doubt that Russelville faced anyone that would come close to beating Cincy X, T, or BG.
  13. Based strictly on who those 4 losses were to I can see an argument for A-. I would say B to B+ otherwise. No one wants to lose 4 games in a season, but there are not many teams in KY that could have beaten the 3 that gave X an L last season.
  14. I had never seen a KY O-Line push around the big boys from Ohio like that group did.
  15. Well Trinity has given and received beat downs against those schools, let's not hint that it is fully lopsided in the last decade or so. I mean T has at least scored on those teams in their handful if losses.
  16. Moeller will likely do to them what T did.
  17. This is one I might like. That range is up my alley.
  18. Holy Cross and it is kind of the red headed step child of the Catholic High Schools. All others are all male or all female.
  19. Cathedral is still a good add. They are a strong and consistent program
  20. That is true, but no one on SKs schedule is in the GCL. That is what I was referring to, not the scrimmage.
