Hopkinsville should win this going away. Taylor and Thomas are poven commodities, but they have a suspect supporting cast. I'm also concerned about a team that gives up 27 to Union Co. The Tigers are a work in progress, but Taylor and Thomas are way too much for Calloway. Tigers roll the Lakers 56-20.

Having seen both Christian and Warren Central, I think it will be a very good game. I'd have to give the edge to Christian Co at this time.

Thats interesting considering Anderson has more division 1 offers than Beaumont.

Central has a better team and program than Warren East. They do now and they will in 2 years. But if Central wants to load up with the Manuals of the world they will wish they had scheduled a few East's. I'm not saying East is better than Central, because I don't think they are. If what Cynical says is true, I think the reason Central won't play East is because they are afraid of getting a little egg on their face if they were to lose.

Warren Central loses a 3 year starting qb, their 2 best athletes in Beason and Brooks, and 3 offensive lineman that have been 3 year starters. The coaching staff could be in limbo after this year as well. The Dragons will be begging for a contract with East 2 years from now.

I'd say the Dragons will be wishing they had put East on the schedule.

Hopkinsville is much better than Mclean, Adair, etc. I don't think anyone could, with a straight face, pick Mclean or Adair to win in a head to head game against Hopkinsville. However, in saying that, Hopkinsville is 9-7 sixteen games into the Dixie Jones era. Yes, they have played tough teams, but at what point does Hopkinsville win a game against a "tough" team? They didn't in '05...and they haven't so far in '06. I think that is the problem a lot of people are having with the Tigers. Injuries or not, getting hammered at home twice by scores of 56-7 and 41-3 to go along with losing to Mayfield, which was hammered by Graves and also lost to Marshall, has a lot of folks questioning what is going on with the Tigers.

I think Hopkinsville is ahead of Warren East and Apollo, but I'm not going to discount them as easily as you seem to.

If Manual avoids giving up big plays they can beat Warren Central. The Dragons have lived on the big play in their 2 wins and failed to get any quick strikes in their 1 loss. Manual 28 Warren Central 21

If a team like Hopkinsville loses every time they play a Male or a Mayfield but wins when they play a Pendleton Co or Union Co does that warrant them to be ahead of a Apollo, Warren East, or even Allen Co? I really think Hopkinsville is getting by on name alone at this point. I don't think Allen Co could beat Hopkinsville. But I do think a case could be made that both Apollo and Warren East could defeat the Tigers.

Just curious, have you seen Warren East play?

Tilghmans young team is growing up fast as they played with Warren Central for 3 qtrs. Tilghman 28-12.

Bowling Green has played 4A St X (2-0) and 4A Christian Co (0-1) and faced 2legitimate Mr.Football candidates in Vic Anderson and Keith Tandy. Warren Central has defeated 3A Franklin-Simpson (0-2) and 3A Paducah Tilghman (0-2). If strength of schedule means anything, the Purples hold the upper hand. It is a rivalry game and its at Warren Central, but I'll take the Purples 24-14.
