If Hoptown is definately back, they need to win this game. Calloway is an improved team but Hoptown should win. Hoptown 35-20.

Calloway's offense has improved but their defense has not and Taylor and Thomas should rack up some impressive numbers against the Lakers. Calloway scores some but not enough...

I think Calloway has a good shot to finish third in the district, but they're not quite ready for Hopkinsville just yet.

The Tigers defense has been very suspect all year and Calloway has a decent offense, but, the Lakers defense is pretty bad, too, and the Tigers T&T combo will be too much for them to handle...Hopkinsville 48 Calloway Co 21

Hopkinsville will be without WR Michael Atkinson and that hurts because he was starting to turn the corner. LB/FB Joe Harris is also out with a concussion.

 

Everybody knows about E.T. and Chris Thomas for Hoptown but Antwain Loving showed last week he's a difference maker for the Tigers on the outside and an above average DB. It's time for RB/WR Brandon Ethridge to rise to the occasion and use his 4.4 speed. He's had an inconsistent year and missed a couple of games but showed in the Mayfield game what he's capable of doing.

 

Defensively Hopkinsville is showing improvement the last 3-4 weeks. Kasey Hall (DT), Marshall Stewart (DE), and Jacob Johnson (LB) have all solidified those positions. They did not play the 1st 2-3 games of the year. Moving A.J. Murray to FS from OLB improved the secondary and gave Hoptown more size up front. Still got some wrinkles to iron out but their showing signs. Another difference has been their aggressiveness and physicality.

Hopkinsville should win this going away. Taylor and Thomas are poven commodities, but they have a suspect supporting cast. I'm also concerned about a team that gives up 27 to Union Co. The Tigers are a work in progress, but Taylor and Thomas are way too much for Calloway. Tigers roll the Lakers 56-20.

Hopkinsville should win this going away. Taylor and Thomas are poven commodities, but they have a suspect supporting cast. I'm also concerned about a team that gives up 27 to Union Co. I understand your point. BUT 20 of the 27 came in the 2nd half when Hopkinsville had already started pulling their starters. Foster did have a big run for a TD in the 1st quarter but the Tigers starting "D" and first rotation players played well and forced 5 turnovers.

 

The Hoptown coaching staff took advantage of the big halftime lead and didn't play a lot of starters in the 2nd half except for a handful that played a series or 2 at the most. One reason this was done is the Tigers BYE week was before their season started and they took advantage of the opportunity to get some kids off the field early.
