  1. Call the cops! Somebody done laid a beatdown on SA and his Spartan Warriors...:sssh:
  2. Unfortunately, with his soccer schedule, Dolly devotes very little time to practicing his football kicking.
  3. How do you come out fired up for a team that has never beaten you and has lost their first two games to Bath County and Nicholas County? You guys need to relax and let the team come together as the season wears on. The secondary is new all the way across and most of the guys we lost had been starting since their sophomore years. Losing Harvey up front left another gap to fill. The coaching staff will do their jobs and get the team prepared every week. As for worrying about giving up an early score and playing from behind, it's better to have played from behind and won than to never have trailed and not know how to respond when you are behind (a la 2004). And lastly, for anybody thinking about Belfry and worrying what they do, since we wouldn't even see then until the semi's if we get that far (or if they get there for that matter), the team needs to play them one game at a time as Coach McGlone said in today's paper. Worrying about a team you wouldn't face until game 14 is not a constructive use of time.
  4. How many guys ran out and picked up Indy's defense after the performance they gave?
  5. Not sure any week will be a good week to play whoever has Peyton... I had a sick feeling when Addai stayed down on his first carry. I have him in a money league and thought I was going to be screwed...
  6. Russell can name the score this week, so long as they aren't looking ahead...:sssh:
  7. Do you actually believe this is the reality of the situation? Many times players are pushed to get back on the field ASAP regardless of the injury, a la Bill Parcells. In the last couple of years or so, there does seem to be some movement toward protecting the players more, but this type of thing was widespread throughout the league and may still be happening on some teams.
  8. If no one wants Harrington now, I'll hang on to him...
  9. I second that...and that's all I got to say about that...
  10. How do we sign in to make changes to our rosters? I want to pick up Selvin Young, DEN RB...
  11. At this point, I'll just add someone via free agency...I don't even have a clue who's still available...
  12. No, you get Huard because I said to throw Harrington back in the mix and give him to whoever it was that took Huard. I screwed up, he would have taken Joey if he had been available and you would have been left with Huard. Godot, can you make these changes to the rosters involved or do we have to do it ourselves?
  13. When I read the title of this thread, I knew you were doing good work BF...:thumb:
  14. Thanks...I thought the rule was the same across the country...:thumb:
  15. Well, for one, my grandmother passed Friday morning and I haven't had time to spend deciding what random player to take between the hospital, last night's visitation and today's funeral. I posted that as my reason for skipping me this weekend. I knew I wouldn't be around to pick and didn't want you all to waste time waiting for my clock time to expire...:thumb:
  16. Don't forget to take Harrington off my roster and make that change with whoever took Huard...I think 5 Wide was the one left with Huard since Garrard was gone...
  17. I learned this the hard way too a while back...I always add an extra hour to a game recording. You never know when OT is gonna come...:thumb:
  18. Would have been anyway...there's nothing else to do there...
  19. System sounded great, now work on getting a better guy on the mic...:creepy: ...he was awful. I HATE PA announcers that cheerlead from the pressbox. But even if you take away that annoying aspect, he's still bad. Wrong calls all night...repeatedly giving wrong penalties and whether they were declined or not, wrong names and numbers (maybe a bad spotter on some of those); in any event, the guy needs to know more about the game...
  20. From the sideline, it appeared to be a forward lateral. As for Selby, I get the ball in his hands much more than they did. As JB mentioned, I might move him to the backfield and hand it to him as well as get it to him in the short passing game.
