LC got beat but I forgot the score. Another long year in Louisa. Pathetic is the only world I know of for this game, cant believe what I saw. I left at halftime.

For me, personally as a fan it is a "must win".

I personally like how it is laid out.

I can only hope. Are their any Ohio message boards talking about this game?

A power running team seems like its going to be a lot of trouble for LC this year.

I am worried about the problems here in Louisa but that doesnt keep me from stating the obvious.

Hit the nail right on the head, they have had 1 good season in last year and are off to a good start this year and everyone in Johnson County thinks that this team has already won the state title and cant be beat.:lol:

One thing people arent realizing on here is that when and if LC can get their D on track then they are going to be REALLY TOUGH. The offensive fire power is there but cant win games scoring 30 points when the other team scores 40.

LC looked great on offense but their D couldnt stop a nose-bleed. About as simple as that.

IF SC is as good as everyone says and LC is as down as everyone says after losing 2 transfers then LC ( on paper ) is going to get blown out.

I was hoping that I hadnt lost my eye to spot a good football team because I really think that Montgomery Co. is going to surprise a lot of people. They run the spread option very well and have talented athletes in almost every position.

I thought MC looked impressive today or its just that LC is going to have ANOTHER long year.

This was the final varsity score that I got when I left at about 12:30. Lawrence missed both extra point attempts but the defense looked good on stopping the run, Roberts for LC is going to have a special year. Anyone feel free to add information that I might have missed.

I was just told that the scrimmage might have been moved to 5 in the evening but I will find out something for sure this evening and let you know TUCKYCAT.

Add Tater McKenzie to Lawrence Countys list. Played at Marshall alongside Randy Moss. Chris Hamilton from Lawrence County played at Marshall as well.

I think this thread needs stick1 in it. LOL

The 97 and 99 Lawrence County teams were unreal and in 97 they were defeated my Cinderella Bourbon Co. and in 99 were knocked off by nationally ranked Fort Thomas. Just seems like we are in the wrong class in the right years. :(

I was wondering about this the other day and what are some of the best programs in the entire state not to win a state title? Locally I can think of Lawrence County and Prestonsburg. Any others?
