So proud of the Cards tonight.We were down by 16 points and came back to take the game in OT against #5 ranked Henry Clay. We missed some free throws which was very costly. Our defense is what brought us back in the game and playing with so much heart. We were led in scoring by KJ Rucker with I believe 16 off the bench. Now on to Post season. GO CARDS

I was so shocked when I saw she didn't get it. If you go read the Cats Pause article on Miss Basketball, they have her as one of the top 3 along with Wheeler and King. :idunno:

GRC now has 9 wins in a row. Lincoln Bush had a heck of a game off the bench with 6 blocked shots. Graham had 8 assists and 2 blocks. Canada led the Cards with 20 points. I didn't get the other stats or scoring. I was at the hospital with my mom. Wish I could have been there for Senior night.

One of the best ball games I have seen in awhile. Good crowd there today. Campbell has a nice team. They can make some noise in post season Their little PG can handle the ball very well. I really liked her game. GRC was down 10 at the half. They really fought back 3rd Q and the score was tied 48 all. 4th Q was back and 4th. Halley Harrison had back to back 3's. CC would answer with 3's. GRC's pressure defense caused steals and turnovers. Great game by both teams.

Anyone with any stats or info. It wasn't on our radio tonight, they carried the girls game.

GRC has added Breathitt Co since the Mason County game was canceled. GRC will travel to Breathitt Co. Saturday January 9th

Great road win for GRC against the # 1 team in the 14th region. GRC only had 4 turnovers and 2 of thoes were charging fouls. That and our defense got us the road win. Knott Co had been averageing 85 points the last 5 games. To Hold them to only 51 points was very good defense which we pride ourselves in. Scoring for the Cards, Jenkins 10 Canada 15 Graham 12 Morton 8 Wellman 8 Rucker 5 Played but did not score Jackson Thomas Bush

You don't base it on stats alone. I think the problem here is GRC placed 3 players on all tourney and the winning team only placed 2. I see your reasoning. Just not sure I agree with it. Best of luck the rest of the season. I will be keeping up with your team.
