GRC 73, Bullitt East 66, final. Cardinals (16-8) will get Ryle-Lincoln County winner in Sunday's 2:30 p.m. final at Bellarmine. It will be the first girls LIT final without a Sixth or Seventh Region team since E'town beat Warren East in 1997.

GRC Hoops advances to the semifinals of the LIT with a 59-53 come from behind victory against Sacred Heart at Bellarmine University. Hayley Harrison led all scorers with 21 points. Maleaha Bell was next with 18 points and also pulled down 12 rebounds. GRC now takes on Bullitt East Saturday morning at 10:00 am for the right to play in Sunday’s championship. Agree. When they are shooting the 3 they are a very dangerous team. They also have a good defensive team that is improving every game.

A ugly win but we will take it. BC hit a 3 at the buzzer for the final score. BC out scored the Cards 21 points from the 3's. GRC's saving grace is that we were 100% from the free throw line. 16 of 16. Wellman led the Cards with 24 points. Canada was the only other player in double figures. Not sure of the district standing, hopefully someone can post that for us.

Hagan Harrison is not a surprise player to us fans of the 40th district..

GRC lead by as many as 21 points. MoCo made a run and cut the lead to 10. GRC went on another run and lead by 16. No giving up by the Indians as they cut the lead to 9 in the 4th Q. Great win for the Cards in a rival and district road game.
