I think WV has a decent shot to beat Grant Co, but SC beating Collins is a very tall task to get the regionals.

I’m hoping they can do it.

I’ve been to 4th, 8th, and 16th. 8th is by far the best of those 3. WKU and Morehead were too big.

Will Gallatin be the favorite in the 31st next year?

Kids can do that in Oldham County too, but another problem is that they don’t have the population to choose from and talent or tradition of those 2 programs. it seems like South Oldham is the only consistent football program in Oldham Co.

I’m sure that’s true. It doesn’t seem to affect them in other sports though. The football culture there has not really improved over the years. Beechwood and Highlands is a little different because the good athletes can choose which public school they want to go to right? If a stud athlete lived in Piner, they could go to Beechwood? Or a kid in Alexandria could go to Highlands to ball out? I’m not sure if that’s accurate, but a buddy from Ft Thomas told me that.

Part of the problem they have is that a lot of the talent leaves for Trinity.

They will make it to regionals. I was talking about advancing once they get there.

I think Grant County is very good, but still won’t make it past the Semi Finals at regionals and even that will be tough to get to. It’s all about the draw. At this point, I still expect SK to win the 32nd. So GC will likely play one of the following at the Roy in the first round. Owen County, who has already beaten them soundly this year. Collins, same as Owen. Or North Oldham who is the only team to beat GC at Dry Ridge. It’s vital that they win the 32nd. The 31st runner up would be an easy victory, Oldham Co/South winner are beatable. The 30th runner up would be formidable though! However, anything is possible.

He’s gonna play, the question is at what level? I say NAIA at minimum.

I’m thinking WV because they are at home, GC can’t improve their seeding and they are on an emotional high. Probably would not hurt to rest some guys at GC too.

Spencer County is growing fairly quickly, so other should help them.

Carson Williams of Owen Co and Davion McKnight of Collins were probably the most productive in college, both at WKU.
