I think the only reason this game is even questionable to some, me included, is that OC has multiple regional championships and SK has zero. That is probably flawed thinking, and is probably my problem. On paper, and from this seasons results, SK should definitely win because they are better.

NO vs GC, even though I would like to see the Braves pull the upset, North just has too many horses and seems to be hitting on all cylinders right now. North by 8. WC vs Owen Woodford has been a mystery all year, but seemed to have figured it out at the right time. Had this game been 2 weeks ago, I would have picked the Rebels, it breaks my heart, but OC relies on Moore too much and I say WC by 10-15. SK vs Oldham, I thought OC played pretty bad against SK earlier in the year and were still in it until the end. With Amburgey injured and SK playing well the last few games, I’m going SK by 5 even though I don’t want too. Collins vs Gallatin, I didn’t think GC would beat Owen County, so what do I know? Gallatin should win the 31st again next year, but this season ends against Collins because they are loaded. Titans by 20.

I agree, I think I’m struggling with this game because I don’t trust Simon Kenton. On the other hand, Amburgey wont be at 100% so it will be SKs game to lose.

North, Woodford, Collins should all win IMO. Oldham vs SK, I’m not sure about.

Where does OC go from here? I guess they hope to draw Simon Kenton?

It was more wishful thinking than knowledge on my part admittedly.

He has done a good job. With OC losing Moore, TC should be able to challenge OC and GC for the title next year.

I agree that you got 32 minutes to make it happen. I watched it online so I couldn’t really tell if there were mistakes. The main reason why there are fewer officials is because of fans/parents ridicule.

Wasn’t the crew from the Louisville/Shelbyville area? I doubt they cared about the outcome. Although, I do agree that officials don’t seem to be held accountable for bad calls, maybe they do? It’s gonna get worse though with fewer young people going into it, so more mistakes will be tolerated. Especially in high school football.

This should be a slugfest. I plan on being at OC vs NO, so hopefully I can watch this game on my phone during the breaks. Has anyone heard if 859 will carry the game?

I’m not sure how this turned into a thread criticizing SC, but I just went all the way back to 2010. Spencer had a run all the way to the 8th region championship game in 2011 where they lost to Oldham County. Then no appearances again until 2019 where they lost in the 1st round. That was their last appearance.
