Lots of D1 coaches had eyes on that program because of Alexander. They would have noticed this kid if he was a freak athlete like dad claims he was. This kid could have gone to camps that colleges put on, and shown off his freakish athleticism. Most colleges want you to go to a camp before they even give an offer. This kid had many opportunities to gain a scholarship. It is extremely rare for a kid to get a scholarship, especially a D1 scholarship. The percentage is less than 1% to go D1. Dad seems to have parent googles on. The kid had a good high school career.

so 22 more teams make the playoffs in a small state. At some point the season ends. if you can't win 1 or 2 games you have no business in the playoffs. When it was four classes you eliminate most of the winless and 1 win teams.

Yes I do know several coaches and players. Its a waisted week. If everyone wants to play another game then add a regular season game at the end. Schedule someone that is a competitive game. Playoffs are supposed to reward teams that had a good regular season and should be somewhat competitive. Its insane that 0-10 teams makes the playoffs and get beat by 50 and drive an hour to do so

Football is a Physical sport. When a team has a running clock on them in the 1st quarter or even half is not fun. They are literally getting the snot beat out of them. Also the kids that are crushing the other team are often not having fun. It becomes boring. That game is not rewarding for anyone. The playoffs should be a reward for a good season. Playoffs or post season was never intended for an 0-10 team to get one last game in for the seniors.

They might need a new OC too. They don't know how to run an offense when they have the lead. This is a team that has some good players and their record doesn't reflect the talent that they have.

Dixie has the players to beat Woodford. Not sure it will happen though.

Kentucky does things right for the baseball and basketball State Tournaments. When it comes to football they get it wrong by a long shot. Most of these #1 seed vs. #4 seed teams are a waist of time and neither team wants to play that blow out game.
