Israel is underrated in the 9th so happy we will be able to watch him develop even more at NKU next season.

The Birds could never recover from that explosive first quarter by the Indians. Made it interesting at the end though.

It might be a little premature but the potential is through the roof with that Newport team. Notice I did say arguably that means they are in the conversation not necessarily the best.

I’d move Newport up to 4. Taylen Kinney and Covington could arguably be the best backcourt in the region.

This Highlands team has really been filling it up. It is going to be a very interesting 9th region this season. I don’t see many teams keeping up with that pace.

I think Newport steals this one with it being early in the season and the Juggs having a few players out. They also have a lot of football guys just getting into the swing of things with the deep playoff run they just had. Lloyd’s offense hasn’t been impressive yet. However I do think the Juggs will be in contention to take the 9th region crown come March.

Hamilton with 23 in his return he’s an underrated player in the 9th. Will make Conner a tough out on a nightly basis.

No they did not. They have a couple of football guys still out including Collins who is a starter. This is only their second game and I believe Coach Walker will have the Juggs in the thick of things come tournament time.
