I've had this one circled for a while and so happy we are streaming this game live from Lloyd Memorial.  Lloyd with D1 bound EJ Walker and NKU bound Jeremiah Israel and on the Newport side Marquez Miller, James Miller certainly D1 caliber and new addition Jabari Covington, who after one game, already one of the most electrifying players in the region.  Taylen Kinney may still be trying to come back from a knee injury, but this one is going to be a really fun game to watch and as much talent on one court in a while.  Just go to 859SportsRadio.com and join Mark Wehry and Doug Schloemer for all the action.

I think Newport steals this one with it being early in the season and the Juggs having a few players out. They also have a lot of football guys just getting into the swing of things with the deep playoff run they just had. Lloyd’s offense hasn’t been impressive yet. However I do think the Juggs will be in contention to take the 9th region crown come March. 

Boy, I honestly don't know who wins this game.  Two teams still looking for the right road to the promised land.

Looks like everyone is scared of this one.  Ok, I'll take a jab at it, Newport by a little.
