I second the Jack Herron idea. I think he will certainly get a look. Hoosier is a possibility. There is no chance Jason Foley goes back to that school. Harris is the candidate being talked about most at the moment.

Just watched the replay. Impossible to rule how the officials did. I cannot believe that. There’s not a moment where the Boyle QB had control of the football. He was touching it for only a fraction of a second. Then the officials compound their error by throwing a flag on the Corbin bench for complaining about the most atrocious call anyone in the stadium has surely ever seen.

That’s an inexcusably bad call.

That intentional grounding call was very bad IMO.

Thank goodness someone is asking the important questions! Is there any word on a mascot or logo? In all seriousness, the color scheme in all the plans for the new school looks ‘MLB-Umpireish.’ A mix of powder blue and dark blue.

Mississippi has a similar version of this blueprint in their current playoff format. Allegedly Marshall Academy in Holly Springs, MS tanked one of their games in order to be classified in a division with an easier playoff road, thereby giving themselves a better opportunity to win a state title. The allegations of tanking include sitting starters and taking a knee at the start of the second half. I would imagine there are many more examples of teams trying to manipulate the Mississippi format—although likely less egregious.
