Think this is an excellent idea, and could be tweaked, or built upon. Think this is as a beginning idea very thought out and could most certainly be used! I’m for it!

Think Newport hangs tough with Beechwood the first half, then the Tigers make half time adjustments and pull away. I’m not picking a score because every time I do it’s the complete opposite.

With how the last couple weeks of regular season have played out, I’m very excited to see how this playoff run goes. I did think it was a three horse race and everyone else was just along for the show, but after seeing some puzzling scores, maybe a dark horse can make a game or two interesting.

Absolutely agree. While we have some excellent seniors who will be missed, I’m very excited for these young players. I will be working with some personally in the off-season and I can assure you they are just as excited as I am.

Exactly my point! I feel like every time I see we are in a 3rd and 6 situation, we are throwing an out route or a come back for a first down! But again I’m not the coach, and I know far less. Just ready for some play off football now!

Absolutely correct. I said the same thing about the hash and the difficulty of kick when it was happening. I’ve also watched him hit them from much farther. But again I’d have to say you go for it. It was like a 4th and 6 maybe 7. I’ve watch Cam hit out routes for those same 7 yards all year. Just my opinion, and still Go Tigers!

I’m not a state champion Head Coach, nor will I ever been, but 4th down with a minute and some change and BW decides to kick the Field Goal deep in NCC territory. To me you go for it on 4th. Your worst possible outcome is what? You don’t get it, they get the ball exactly where they would if you miss. I can understand a fumble or interception but the chances of that are slim. Think that call was a deciding point for this game.

I’m very curious and super excited to see what this game does to the RPI rankings as well. I know this last week of games will really make or break some seedings, and who travels where for the playoffs. I know that has to be the big topic in the locker room. Can’t wait to see it all unfold!

Always a good matchup, and good rivalry amongst these teams. Beechwood firing on all cylinders at the perfect time and likewise to NCC. Have to be a homer on this one and pick my tigers but by 7 or less. Think it’s very close and comes down to the final minutes.

Can’t wait to see the Sophomores & Freshman, as Juniors and Seniors. They are getting quality time now, so this will lead to a very strong next couple of years. Very impressed with the district play by the tigers. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season! Go Tigers!

Think the rankings are perfect as posted here! What scares me for the rest of 2A is the separation from 1-3 and the rest of the state. I’m a Beechwood fan and it’s hard for me to say we can beat any of the top 3 despite us getting better from our Somerset game week 2. Good luck to everyone this week!

Have to take the Tigers in this one. Records within the district to me, tell a lot, and Beechwood has handled business so far. I did say Beechwood/Lloyd would be close, but I’m going to say Tigers roll Friday! 42-14.

Very tough, and important game for both teams! I think due to Beechwood SoS they will be able to pull this one out late. Lloyd will absolutely give the tigers a hard fought game til the clock runs out! Beechwood 21 Lloyd 14
