Would Scott Tackett be a candidate for this position? Had tremendous success at Rowan County previously on the girls side working alongside Thacker as he was boys coach. Tackett currently at Lewis County coaching the boys there for the Lions.

The Bears have hired Dustin Barnett to take over in Morgantown. I believe he was middle school lately for the Bears. He is replacing Calvin Dockery who was also middle school coach before taking over BCHS.

Representation for what? He still has his teaching position, coaching is a year to year position at the high school level. Coaches are not entitled to be renewed for coaching regardless of their success. If the school chooses to go a different direction they don’t have to have a reason to make a change for the next season other than we don’t want you back. I’m not saying this is correct in this situation as Sullivan is a top ten coach in the Bluegrass. I’m just stating in regards to the comment of does he not have representation in this situation. Potentially one of the top jobs in the mountains, Floyd Central is now open. Alan Joe Moore was relieved of his duties after six years as head coach.

Anthony Wireman has announced via social media this morning that Jamie Todd is the new head coach of the Boyle County Rebels. I had heard over the weekend that a different coach previously mentioned on the boards accepted the job, not sure what happened as I was surprised to see Todd listed as the new coach. Todd is currently an assistant at Berea College.

This is an elite hire for the Greyhounds. Paris has one of the better incoming 8th grade classes in the state. Look for a former University of Kentucky player who was 1st or 2nd team All SEC to send his son to Paris. This hire will show dividends in 2-3 years.

Would be one of their better players this year, had to sit out last season so didn't play for the Flyers but is now at another school, a state power. She has been there since end of February / early March.

This remains to be seen.
