How many INTs does Hardin have on the year?

Newport wins, but not sold on them until playing somebody. Nothing personal here, just strength of schedule. I don’t buy stock on winning records against smaller teams just like I don’t sell stocks on a team like Beechwood for being winless playing the best. I’m happy for Newport and hope they build, but the road is gonna get harder very quick. Hopefully the “W’s” give them confidence and they can build on them throughout the year. DB/S. Not too familiar with overall stats or details, but saw him snag 2 pics against Lloyd in first qtr. He is a senior and playing very well, leading a young Eagles team.

2 guys in NKY to watch: Jackson Hardin, Scott. The Senior has 2 games with multiple picks, and I’m pretty sure at least 1 in each game so far. Brandon McClendon, Cov Holy Cross. Holy Cross’ playmaker is everywhere. The Junior also takes most pics back to the house. Incredible athlete. Don’t let HC’s record fool you on this kid. He does it all for them.

Saw that Jackson Hardin had another multi-INT game. Kid needs more credit and recognition.

Eagles win big, again. Indians have lost key player Jeremiah Hicks, and still a work in progress. Brandon mcClendon is real deal, but scott just has more weapons and horses. This should be a breakout game for Scott Sophomore class, including QB Gus Howlett. Just don’t throw ball at McClendon......

Beechwood will surprise some here IMO. The loss of Derry again this season will hurt, but next man up at BW. I know kids are motivated to play for him. Somerset probably takes this in a close one, similar to Paintsville game. But lookout as season goes on.

My biggest question for CovCath this year is only this. Why isn’t Mayer in bubble wrap and sitting in South Bend, or finishing high school and catching first bus? Nothing left to prove in high school. State title, check. Full ride to awesome D-1 school, check. Why risk it? A game like this scares me for a kid who has a legit chance. All that being said, this game should tell you if he can carry the Colonels to a state title. A lot of question marks on that team IMO. Good, talented, but just not proven yet for me.

Excited to see this game play out. Would be even more excited if Derry hadn’t gone down with 2 Torn aCL in as many years last week. From what I’ve seen and read, Somersot looks stronger and more seasoned on paper. But everyone knows Beechwood doesn’t rebuild, they reload. Hopefully it’s a preview of playoffs and doesn’t disappoint.....

I haven’t seen either team yet this year, but knowing what dixie has, Ill take Dixie in a tight one.

I like the changes. In 2A for instance last year, it will eliminate a winless team like COV Holy Cross traveling to and playing in state #1 CAL. Similar outcomes for other smaller schools in divisions or those with “down” years. No business making those trips for a running clock in first quarter. If You can’t get out of your own backyard, stay home.

McClendon for Holy Cross is real deal. Big year coming for this young man.

Hardin and Perrin both playing. 0-0 1st qtr 2:10 to go. Hardin has 2 INTs already.

I’ve seen firsthand, in a very short time, why BW is consistently a winner. Preparation, Conditioning, and Coaching 2nd to none. It’s unreal how detailed this program is. New group of kids, yes. Will most be nervous, yes. But it’s now these kids time to shine. 0-4 start? Maybe. But They will be just fine in the end IMO. Get your licks in now cuz they won’t be down for long if at all.......

I have heard Hardin kid will be back, but Perrin May be out another week. Hoping both get back soon so we can see what the Eagles can do in Perrin’s last season.

Eagles need Quincy Perrin and Jackson hardin back this week. Both are key players who got hurt last week, and Highlands pulled away as a result. If they are healthy, Eagles should take this one in a close battle.

For Beechwood, the Slusher kid comes in as a Sophomore, not Junior. He is of the same Slusher family, just cousins, and bigger! ? He will be eligible 11/2 as he was a 2 way starter for Holy across as a Freshman and is ineligible until then. Great preview though. Very informative. ??
